As a Sixers fan, this is annoying. Trying to project lineups that far in advance is absurd

Calm down dude, It's a message board. Things like this happen. I'm not Ms cleo, but as a sixers fans, It's fun to look towards the future.

I'd love Mudiay but I really think he will be more effective as a PG because he excels so much with the ball in his hands. A two PG line-up can work but I don't think it can coexist with an offensive philosophy that is based on Embiid's play in the post.
I'm more into Stanley Johnson for this team.

Love stanley johnson, but I think manny has the higher ceiling. Plus im assuming we have another top 3 pick, and hinkie is known for taking the bpa.

Well, it's hard to project this far out, but instead of a starting line up, we can look at it as if it's our core unit going forward: Saric, MCW, Embiid, Noel. Not necessarily starters.
We will start to know this year and next year answers as to the question of whether 2 big men who like to play near the paint offensively can still be a title winning duo in today's NBA. Okay yes, Duncan and Splitter play near the paint offensively, but they were split up in the playoffs vs. OKC and then SA.
Saric, from all that I heard could be another special player. Not just another shooter or 1 dimensional player, but a real all around forward. He will come in 2016.
MCW will need to continue to develop his shooting. I haven't heard too much about this Mudiay. Could you discuss him a little more like school, strengths, height, and when is he suppose to be drafted? Is he going to be a top pick?

Sixers fans LOVE to talk about what their team will look like in the future.
I wonder why?

Because we have to watch a JV team for the next 82 games. Let me distract myself from the pain, I'm begging you.

Mudiay is a 6'5 combo (there's debate on his 'true' position) guard who was committed to Southern Methodist for next year but now plans to play pro overseas. He was projected to be at least a top 10 and likely a top 5 pick next year, but who knows how the decision to skip school and play abroad will affect that.
Hyper athletic and decently lengthy, pretty good ball-handler. He's got PG tendencies and is usually listed as a PG but he could definitely be used as a perimeter ball-hawk defensive SG type as well. Needs to work on his jumper before you could call him a '3&D' which IMO is something the Sixers should be actively pursuing rounding out the starting lineup with.

Thanks, similar to the Jennings situation. I've heard him compared to Westbrook. Accurate?
BTW, you guys know about the "maestro" right? Vacilije Micic.
The Sixers are high on him, but they want him to get that top level experience with top EL opposition now that he will sign with Munich, and be available for 2016.

Who's to say that Hinkie ends up grading Mudaiy higher? Stanley Johnson is a guy who is being mocked anywhere from 2-5 right now and the team will get a much better chance to scout him next season. I love everything about the kid's game and attitude. 4-time CA state champion, has made huge improvements every year, gets after it on defense, etc. I think he would be the perfect swingman to have on this team.
Only time will tell but I think he kills it at Arizona and goes top 3.

That's almost a playoff team*!
*If everyone pans outs**
**If their big men are even able to get on the court and get the chance to pan out***
***If Saric decides to come over****
****If Saric is good enough to come over
Now they just need 7 players for a bench!
I don't know much about 2015 prospects besides Mudiay Okafor Turner.

Never know what can happen in a college season. Mudiay can play his way out of the lottery real quick. Remember when Shabazz Muhammad was supposed to be the next big thing out of high school?
