View Full Version : The "coming home" sentiment is laughable; the Cavs are stacked...

He left Miami because he feels Wade is broken down and a guaranteed title is no longer the case. He left a team with less talent for a team with more talent. Kyrie, Wiggins, Waiters, Thompson, possibly Love, Miller, Jones, etc. I'm glad he went home, but he should've never left if he wanted a great legacy. SMH @ him proclaiming he will be on Mt. Rushmore; dude is delusional just like his fans. That team, in that conference, is a lock for the east finals and more than likely the NBA finals.

Don't get caught up in the BS.

His legacy is a million times better if he can win a championship with the Cavs, have 3 rings and a few more MVP's.

There's a possibility that Lebron will ask for a trade mid-season because Kyrie isn't healthy, Dion is causing locker room problems, Wiggins is threatening his popularity in Cleveland with even flashier dunks, and TT and Varejao aren't knocking down 3s or long range jump shots. :pimp:

22-19 mid season record.

The Cavs suck right now. Great potential though. We shall see.

anyone with a brain knows this already, the whole coming home letter was just to make his persona better liked, a cover up. So now no one would say he's ringchasing even though he sort of still is. The real reason is because the Cavs already has the potential to be a contender. It's really that simple.

Yeah dude your right.

The Heat have been really bad these last 4 years.

While the Cavs have been consistently the top team in the NBA for the last 4 years.

It would make sense for LBJ to leave that crappy Heat team to join the championship juggernaut Cleveland Cavaliers.

It has nothing to do with the fact that LBJ was born and raised there. It's all about LBJ chasing rings, and if you want rings, Cleveland is the place to be.

F*cking retards.

Kyrie, who gets called overrated like it's his nickname
TT...what has he done in this league yet?
Bennett, who was being called the GOAT bust
Varajao, who was having quite a career year then got injured...bretty good, not even all-star
Waiters...is he even better than Beal?

= one of the worst teams in the league

add seemingly overrated and raw Wiggins whose selling point is potential

= ehhhhh....what really changed? No one said anything about stacked.

add LeBron James and the GOAT Mike Miller

= stacked

Cool story doe

if cleveland didnt have the #1 draft pick 3 of the last 4 years(and #4 in that off year), i wonder what bron wouldve done. would he have still left miami? is so, where? houston? NY? LA? one thing is for certain. he sure as hell wouldnt have went back to cleveland?

Cleveland has acquired a bunch of talent with 3 #1 overall picks , while Wade is a shell of himself on a team that has reached it's ceiling.

Also doesn't hurt that Cavs can get Lebron's boy Mike Miller to join him while the Heat can't because they amnestied him.

:oldlol: at the "3 number 1 picks" talking point. Bennett averaged 4/2/0 on 36% as a rookie. Counting him is like counting Oden.

How are they stacked? They won 33 games last year and now they lost Jack Zeller and added Wiggins...

the fact that wiggins wont start shows just how stacked cleveland is. he can't find a spot over anyone at PG, SG or SF.. even if lebron plays PF

big lebron fan here

but the cavs are absolutely stacked

outta the last 4 years, 3 #1 draft picks, including wiggins who has TMac potential AND they might get kevin love, who i often call underrated. best PF today.

cavs will win 55 games next season and 2-3 titles during lebron's tenure

bennett would start at SF if bron was at PF... but bron will play SF and thompson will start at PF guaranteed

wiggins isnt strong enough to play SF and bennett has a year under his belt.

bennett also has the outside shot and is sort of undersized to play PF

i think the coach would bring wiggins off the bench no matter what. bring him along slowly.

he doesnt fit with lebron on the same lineup anyway. cant kick it out to wiggins for a three

"#1 picks" means absolutely nothing. Seriously nothing. They'd have to pan out to be great first. Then it would be stacked. As of right now, no. It makes no sense to even suggest that they are.

"including wiggins who has TMac potential"

What does that even mean? Even if it were true, how is it relevant for the current situation? Oh, he might be T-Mac down the road therefore they're stacked now.

Not even remotely true. Mike Brown's dumb ass rotations & offensive sets, some injuries, locker room drama and being the second or third youngest team in the league hurt them last year. They were in playoff contention last year up until a couple back to back losing streaks very late in the season. Certainly no tanking involved.

No doubt the Cavs have a ton of young talent, even before acquiring Wiggins and LeBron and everyone was saying we were a team of draft busts that will never get out of the lottery, but they haven't had a winning mindset and culture since 2010. And that's exactly what LeBron is expected to bring. He is expected to mentor this young talent and prepare them for a championship run in one of these coming years. I don't think, and I think people are naive if they think it will be this year, or even next year, but by the time Irving, Waiters, Wiggins, Bennett or whatever combination we still have hit their prime, they will be experienced and ready.

This is all hoping we don't get Kevin Love. But if we do, maybe we can talk stacked. :oldlol:
