View Full Version : What if Bran forces Wiggins out for Love (a 2014 topic)

Then Wiggins turns into a top 5 player 4 seasons from now while Bran-Love-Kyrie fails to win a chip and Bran leaves after two seasons to collude with Kevin Durant in LA taking Love with him? Would Bran stans continue to defend his actions?

Wiggins isnt winning shit in Minnesota.

Lebron isnt going to New York.

Why would Bran care? What is he supposed to do while he waits 4 years for Wiggins to develop, just lose to the Bulls in the playoffs a bunch of times as he finishes his prime?

Dude, there are a bunch of hypotheticals here:

1) LeBron forcing Wiggins out for Love
2) Wiggins turns into a top 5 player 4 years from now
3) Cavs fail to win a championship
4) LeBron leaves after two seasons
5) Durant leaves at the same time
6) Both guys go to LA, with Love

If this is what you're thinking my man, find a bookie. Place some money on these propositions. If 1-2 come true, you'll make a ton of money.

I knew Bran would go back to Cleveland right after the cavs won the lotto. Can you seriously bet on random scenarios like this? I thought just individual games. Damn I would have made a ton of money.

it aint hypothetical, you missed to read the first few

1) lebron leading the heat to the finals
2) wade and bosh play like shit forcing lebron to think twice about his futire in miami
3) lebron forces his buddies to opt out to make it seem like they all will return with a better supporting cast
4) bolts the minute he hits free agency to Cleavland and the media all over his nuts
5) LeBron forcing Wiggins out for Love
6) Wiggins turns into a top 5 player 4 years from now
7) Cavs fail to win a championship
8) LeBron leaves after two seasons
9) Durant leaves at the same time
10) Both guys go to LA, with Love

Wiggins aint the issue. The problem is paying a pg max money when you have Lebron on your team. It just doesnt make sense to do. Thats not a slight to either guy. Simply a reality. Cleveland would be much better off moving Irving.

Kyrie & Tristan Thompson for Love!

Then this will be the new reality:

-Kobestans will have been right, LeBron is the ultimate Beta. There has never been a superstar who NEEDED top pieces around him as badly as Bran. It is kind of pathetic to watch everyone scramble to set the table for him. give Bird, or Jordan Kyrie and some young pieces, and they will, give Kobe this team, he wins, but not Bran...this is troubling. I have always said Bran>Kobe but now I am not sure.

-Cleveland being Cleveland. The loser behavior continues, always operating from a loser perspective. "We must make LBJ happy ASAP or he will leave our city!

-2/6 (33%). That will be LBJ's finals record next June. This team will make the finals, but won't be able to make the requisite stops to be a WC team. If Bran lost with Kyrie and the young guys it would build him up, if he loses with 'The Expendables' part two, his legacy WILL take a huge hit.

-it just reeks of bitchmadeness. on the part of Cleveland and on the part of LeBron (his name is attached to the rumors).

-panic move, and dare I say typical Cleveland.

-this will go down in history (after the lose in the finals and Kevin Love battles injuries for the rest of his career) as the dumbest trade Cleveland could have made, with LeBron in LA filming Space Jam 2.

I mean this makes a ton of sense to me from Clevelands perspective, I just dont know that the Wolves would want Irving already having Rubio on the team. Would prob have to be a three team deal.

I got some parts right. Bran forced Wiggins out for Love. He also did end up in LA but colluded with AD instead of KD.

Love joining Lebron/Kyrie made the 15' Cavs the preseason and pre-playoffs favorite to win it all - they were favored and consideres the best collection of talent before Kyrie's injury

that's why the Cavs championship once Kyrie was healthy is completely overblown as an upset when it really wasn't - they were originally favored and considered the best team

Oof, 2016 still stings I see.

the whole notion of forcing a player out just never made sense, but then so didn't the whole sticking with one franchise theme.

muh loyalty!

These same nigguhs better be just as loyal to their employer (who just like an NBA team would get rid of your ass the moment it makes financial sense for them to do so).

instead of calling it loyalty, we may as well call it, people are paid, so no one has to do another's job.

I bet there were countless confusions and arguments as to whether or not it's the players job to put people in seats. and in my opinion, not in todays league, it's either another persons job, or more people should be playing basketball at the Y. Particularly after team USA hadn't been dominating the international competition.
