Jordan Farmar last season, but I think that had more to do with the Laker organization and being back in the NBA. :lol
We have players like Gasol and Howard taking pay cuts to get away from Kobe though. :applause: :oldlol:

Lets be real, if Kobe was drafted to Milwaukee no would come to play with him.

They only want to play for the Lakers

Nope... he doesn't take less in order to compete for championships and nobody wants to play with him.

Ron Artest
Derek Fisher could have left for more money

Thats all I could really think of. Kobe doesn't need discount players though

But I thought Shaq did all the carrying? Surely if Kobe was stinking it up Shaq should have won the championship single-handedly like he did all the others, right???????

so now we laugh at players for not getting enough help or cheap ring chasers ?

i thought it was the other way around

saying nobody wants to help kobe ( then he goes out and wins 2 more ships in 3 straight finals )

this is a compliment

Nick young sort of did. He opted for FA for a huge pay raise but ended up taking less money than he was worth to stay with L.A.

Thank Dr. Buss for handed it on a silver plate for him, had the most dominant front court in the league everytime he wins

So "dominant" front court players do in fact choose to play with him now???

the last CBA. got teams overpaying players every offseason.
but you know, a lot more about seeing how a piece fits into your team
than spending the money the right way.

So, no one in the world wanted to play with Kobe, yet he still led a team to 3 straight championship series and won two of them?

GOAT status. Lebron got all the help in the world and everyone loves him but he's 2/5 while Kobe doesn't give a f and is 5/7

Atleast Kobe making his money like he should be
on the other hand Lebron taking less to play with other superstars

people in this thread are funny.
First they say no one wants to play with Kobe, then they say Jerry Buss gave Kobe the most dominant front court of all time. So do they want to play with Kobe or not?
Yao Ming's foot just ethered all those people here.
