Depends what you mean by scrub. A guy who plays limited minutes and doesnt get a lot of acclaim but at least gets on the court is one thing. A guy who is at the very end of the bench and never plays would be very frustrating IMO. You have to show up on time to all the meetings and practices and constantly sleep on planes and busses and you dont even actually PLAY in the NBA? Only reason to do it would be the money, bc compared to most jobs its much better. But in this scenario you make the same money doing porn, and would get to live in SoCal year round with a much less demanding schedule.

So IMO it all comes down to the specifics. If I play 10-15 minutes a night in the association Ill take that. If Im just a practice cone for Lebron to dunk on during the day and Im rockin street clothes on the end of the bench at night? Ill do porn.

I'd be a millionaire plus getting ***** would be easier then being a porn star, plus I wouldnt have to have 20 people in the room filming me mid-bang.

Even a 15th man bench scrub who never sees NBA minutes gets to play competitive scrimmages and shoot hoops every single day in practice with his teammates. Even if you get no game time you still are getting paid to play hoops which is basically my top dream, but one that I will never achieve.

well, the down side of being an NBA scrub is that if you don't know much about business, when your very short lived career runs out, you are either hoping that you somehow hired someone extremely talented to work for you, who, in most reality, is either someone who makes a lot more money than you, or you just lucked out while they were still in the beginning of their career.

I guess the problem with being a porn star is in fact that to make the same amount of money as an NBA scrub, you would have to be highly recognized because the sub culture of porn is probably just a fraction compared to those who follow basketball.
