I notice nobody cares anymore about sneakers except celebrities. Has the fad of being a so-called sneakerhead dead?

Not really, the shoe game is just way different than it used to be. The quality of the new jordans has went downhill, so all the old heads dont really pay no mind to most releases, while all these young kids hype every release that comes out. Don't even get me started on resellers and bots......

Interesting. I equate people that collect sneakers to when I was a kid collecting baseball cards.

Seems like shoes are the new thing for kids to collect.

The idea of kids ripping off adults in this free market is comical.

its a waste of money

worry about your whole gear than just your sneakers. sneakers in themselves don't make you pimp altho some people tend to think that way.

I gotta cop the gammas, concords and 4s breeds before I quit the game.

And you're right about celebrities, these kids see them wear the newest jordans, and start hyping them like no other. I have a theory that Nike gives these shoes to celebrities for free, almost like a advertisement, you know?
of course they do. it's not just sneakers. clothing lines, gadgets... you name it and celebs get it for free so their worshipers can run out and buy the same gear. how do you think Beats got so popular?

That's how they get you. XI's have become the most overrated shoe of all time.

Resellers, hipsters, and re-re-re-retroes killed the shoe game
