Kobe has a great year in order to prove the doubters wrong. He passes Jordan on the All time scoring list in the process, and the Lakers actually make it to the second round.

Cavs struggle with their inexperience and youth. They fail to find a identity and can't be consistent, resulting in a much lower seed than thought. Get bounced in the 2 round and everyone clamors for Lebron to get more help.

Houston regresses to a low seed and is inconsistent all year.
