Exactly what this is. A subtile tank job by the front office & next season's draft is big man galore with Myles Turner, Jahili Okafor, Karl Towns Jr. (!!!!!) , Willie Cauly Stein, and more. We desperately need a center and the draft looks promising.

They are waiting until Nash's absurd contract runs out and they can have multiple big names (Gasol, Love, KD, WB, etc) to throw a max at.

The way they took care of Kobe will be a great selling point to guys like that, in 15 we sign a guy like Rondo or Love

Then in 16 we sign KD or WB

Look at how the rockets handled Parsons, that will deter potential free agents for years to come.
