Hes 5'7 and would be a fun guy to have in the NBA. I saw the Mavericks game and he was really fun to watch lol.

So for anyone who has more knowledge about him, can he make the NBA?

for a team that's tanking, why not? He'll have a few god-like games and rest of his games will help you get that #1 seed

play him 38 mpg

I hope so. The only thing more relatable for the enormous Asian basketball crowd than Jeremy Lin or Yao Ming is a 5-7 Asian basketball player. He's Yuki Iverson.

Too short.

Should have played soccer or something.

5'7 is being real generous.

Not likely he gets a long term deal, but I can see a team giving him a 7 day, possibly seeing if they can create some hype and sell some jerseys. He can have big games, but it won't last as coaches adjust.

It would be cool if he did. Not enough little guys in the league

it would be a great investment considering the size of asian market.
Shit, Lin's making millions for any team he's on, this guy could too

There is no market for Yuki he is Japanese not Chinese. These groups do not support each other.

I doubt that he'll make a team here. He'll probably have the same outcome as Yuta Tabuse.

I'd like him to make a team. Plenty of shorter guys have been successful in the NBA. I don't know if he is good enough but it would be fun to watch

He won't be allowed because he'll embarrass most players in the shower.

It will be super tough, especially because he's very short.

I can see him becoming a less athletic Nate Robinson one day if he makes it into the league.

he looks 5'5, he can be a boykins type player

Living Being

But we all agree that Yuki is 10x better than anyone on this forum, correct? Good for him for even having a shot at an NBA bench.

Not a chance. Everybody shooting over this guy. Extreme defensive liability and limited offensively.

Wrong.

Height is an obvious overwhelming advantage in basketball.

Height is a mixed bag in soccer.
Some of the best players ever were relatively short, even below human average. Eg. Maradona

Correct me if I am wrong, but isnt Height a mixed bag in soccer?
Eg. It helps with heading, but being shorter typically gives you better touch and better dribbling?

Unlike basketball where height is an overwhelming advantage.

Living Being

Yuki is the same height as Messi, the best soccer player in the world, but that is irrelevant to the topic at hand.

yuki isn't 5'7. he's like 5'5
