Kings trade talk building up (Smith for Thompson + other)

So the Kings are looking for a third team to get involved with a trade involving us.

Josh Smith would be moving over to Sac town (in attempt for them to lure Rondo over there and build a very athletic core) and we'd be looking at getting Thompson and either Derrick Williams or Jason Terry.

So if this were to occur, who you guys wanting, Williams or Terry?

- Williams and Terry are both in the last years of their contract come 2014-2015.
- Each make roughlly the same.
- Williams at 6.3 mil
- Terry at 5.8 mil

Both are coming off pretty unproductive years. I'd side with getting Williams, of course. We have a glaring hole at SF still. He has nice size and may be able to shoot the 3-ball at a good clip if he puts more time into it. SVG could probably talk some sense into him on where he needs to work on his game.

Yea, we don't have much news coming out besides the regular ho hum (Is Monroe staying, is Smith staying), so wanted to get some blood flowing in here. :oldlol:

I would guess that in this scenario, we do something along the lines of sending Jerebko or D.Williams to a team like Philly with cap space, with cash and a 2nd round pick. Thompson becomes part of our big man rotation and we move forward.

Well Williams still has quite a high ceiling if he can tap into his potential, still just 23 years old with ultra athleticism - SVG might be able to get the best out of him... You would think we need to take a chance on him rather than 36 year old Terry - wrong scenario for him - he needs to go to a contender, Dallas would work well for him again actually...
