View Full Version : Kobe is delusional and LeBron is pragmatic

Kobe "It's my job to go out there next season and lay it all out there on the line and get us to that elite level,'' he said.

:biggums: :wtf: :facepalm

Kobe's ego is so big that he is delusional. I have to give props to Bran for being pragmatic and knowing that he needs help.

Kobe says that before every season since Shaq left...Kobe's the leader and he always puts it on him. The team is relatively young as well so this helps the chemistry more than it hurts it.

The leader has to be confident with the team he is given. Kobe always says he believes his team can contend for a championship, even right after losing a Playoff series he says he'll be back. It's what makes him great. He puts the pressure on himself first and foremost.

How would the team feel if he came out and said "this team is medicore, I need more help."...

So Shaq is the greatest center of all time?

Kareem Wilt Hakeem and Bill never existed?

And I guess Kobe kicking ass in the WCF (the real finals those years) the Lakers would not have those titles.

Shaq is arguable the greatest center of all time, if not the greatest peak of all time which was during the 3-peat. Convenient for Kobe to play with the greatest center of all time at his peak huh.

Dat gift-wrapped 3 rings.

Look at Wilts stats and Kareem's longevity kid.

Again look at the games and Kobe's stats during the WCF those years.
With out Kobe Lakers don't win.

You can't have a mentality that you may not win.
It's always about winning, you have character problems if you're not 100% down with that

I've never said Kobe doesn't work hard. In fact the opposite happened, I think Kobe is probably the hardest working NBA player in america since the day he was drafted with the greatest work ethic.

But I do have a problem with Kobestans bringing up his 5 rings like he won all of them the same way.

He has said that before. Here he is right after losing to PHX.

The Lakers were eliminated in the first round for the second straight year and haven't won a playoff series since 2004, when Shaquille O'Neal left Los Angeles. Bryant let it be known after the game that changes must come.

"Do it and do it now," he said. "Personally for me, it's beyond frustration -- three years and still being at ground zero. This summer's a big summer. We have to see what direction we want to take as an organization and make those steps and make them now."

You know, Ca$h, you may have yourself a groupie. All I see every thread you post now is Dragic replying agreeing with you.

As for the topic at hand. Water is wet. Of course it's Kobe's responsibility to carry the team. Who else is going to? Randle is still developing and Lin spent a couple of years having to give the ball up to others. Kobe is the centerpiece. Whether he can do ti or not, remains to be seen but yeez.
