Can you consider Kawhi a Scottie-lite?

Great trade on draft day for George Hill

Just like Steve Novak is Bruce Bowen without defense/dirty play.

Kawhi has offense. Could've sworn I saw him splashing threes in LeBalds face the entire finals series:applause: .

When I mean by offense, I actually meant a consistent 20-22 pg scorer. I think he's a scary third option for any championship team. Defensively especially but he could give you 14-15 ppg a game in the playoffs. He cruises through the regular season or at least it seems.

Kawhi's game reminds me more of Sprewell with better defense

He made some great passes in the finals, he makes the right passes. Working with Pop is really improving his passing game. It wasn't a natural thing for him though

Im so nba'd out

He could definitely do that down the road..he was 22 this past season and they rarely ran plays for him. If you consider how he came into the league and where he is now, it's remarkable. His handles are much tighter, he can shoot with range, he can drive, he's learning to play in the post, etc. He's got another 5-6 solid years of improvement in the Spurs system, and Pop has mentioned he's gonna run a lot of offense through Kawhi next year. I'd be surprised if he's not a 20-22ppg scorer by the time he's 28-29.

yes when the old dawgs are gone I can see it. Next year I predict 16/7 with competent percentages with incredible defense.

I see Leonard as more of a Shawn Marion type as of now. Marion was the best rebounding SF in the L and one of the more versatile defenders in the NBA as well. And on top of it can get u 22 points a night. Marion is actually one of the more underrated SF's of all time in my book. Guys like Bron and Grant Hill are more similar to Pippen than Leonard.

:lol

Leonard in 14': 18/6/2
Leonard in 13': 15/11/1

Pippen in 91': 21/9/7
Pippen in 92': 21/8/8
Pippen in 93': 21/9/8
Pippen in 97': 20/8/4

Pippen career in the Finals: 19/8/6 (20/9/6 in 34 games if you exclude Game 6 in 98' when he was playing as a decoy with a shot back)
