Does doing 500 situps a day even work? Been doing a shitload of situps and crunches errday. Tone is coming in just a bit, but I wanna be chiseled/shredded.

Is it all about the diet? Haven't really meal prepped. Just been eating what I usually eat. Is this the reason for my slow results? Fitness freaks, is it all about the diet moreso than actual workouts? And if so, can you give me some of your best weekly meal preps. Gonna try eating clean for a bit. I want to look something like Serge Ibaka or Blake Griffin.

Burning calories will make you burn fat. It's impossible to target a certain area of your body to lose fat. Do anything to get your heart rate up.

Sitting on your computer and looking at pics of Serge might work

Liposuction.

Seriously though, situps and crunches build muscle, not burn fat. Well not much anyway. If anything it will make your gut look bigger since the muscle just pushes the fat further out.

You need cardio + dietary changes.
Cardio workouts and diet changes? Cool. Gonna do some laps around the track in the morning.

What do your daily meals look like Shannon. Lemme be you for a few weeks.

Not giving a f*ck. That way gaining weight, losing weight = same shit. You win either way.

You can't have your body target certain areas of fat to lose. The best thing to do is to build the muscle under the fat as best you can, then as you lose fat everywhere (including your stomach) your muscles will be more defined because you built them up already. Also I heard a good amount of fiber in your diet can help as well a little.

I used to weigh 260 lbs, I'm currently 175. I was pure fat at 260. It took 7 months for me to get from 260 to 170 (i did that about 7 years ago)

Some good foods to eat:

Spinach
Egg whites
Oatmeal (almond milk)
Chicken Breast
Fish
Lo-carb wraps
Chipotle bowls (brown rice, black beans, no cheese/sour cream)
Avocado
Kashi cereal

Not fat at all. Just carrying excess weight I want to get rid of.

Kind of at the stage where i'm done bulking. Just gotta tone up and get shredded like a mofukka.

Thanks, bro. I was gonna buy a shitload of salmon and tilapia for my protein intakefor the next week or so. Skinless chicken breast too. Baked potatoes and broccoli.

You ever eat asparagus for meal preps?

Asparagus on the side of some steak is great. Most veggies are good. Don't load up on fruits though, lots of sugar in a lot of fruits.

Also, beans! Fiber is good because it helps you stay full and helps your digestive system.

i just lost weight but i sort of had to. i wasn't fat, but just a bit overweight, and only because i LOVE junk food. I LOVE french fries, fried foods(fried clam strips, fried chicken, LOVE buffalo wings, etc)...basically huge fan of bar foods....

i cut all of that out now. Been on banana and black coffee in the morning, grilled/rotisserie chicken salad(sprinnkle of old bay) on a tortilla wrap(Giant) w/ unsalted chips for lunch, and eat mostly whatever i want for dinner but i cut out all the fried except french fries occasionally. I have to add more variety in, but all in all i'm okay with the tastes, its actually really good.

Almost forgot i do get Panera Bread and Subway occasionally, like the only fast food out there with healthy stuff that i can find around my way...

my stomach is completely flat now, just got to build tone. before i always had a little bit of a bulge, and especially after i'd eat bar food i'd feel fat for like 2 days~

HUGE difference in energy, face look used to have a little neck fat i was getting but gone now, and i look overall way better from a day to day than i used to....also occasionally jog too. i just got to build tone. i really wanted to try and get a 2-6 pack this summer, kind of surprised i'm already at this point tbh of stomach flatness. been only about a month of it.

it all starts with diet IMO.
