Doesn't seem like he's part of their future core going forward. Still a young dude, too. The Lakers could use him at the 3. Don't know who/what Philly would want tho.
What's dudes contract like?

About 10 million next year, so big cap hit.

Expirer?
If so, teams should be all over him.

Two years on deal, this and next.
Not a bad player, but in this cap environment hard to trade.

Thad can't play SF.

Considering how many players have been overpaid this offseason his contract isn't a big deal. Cut the nonsense.

No idea.
Should trade him ASAP.
He's a really good player and his contract is not that bad at all...under 10 million.

Yeah this current offseason is gonna make it significantly easier for teams to move previously less-than-optimal contracts. Sixers should shop and see what we can get at SG/draft picks for him

who's MCW gonna play with?
they drafted a player who's going to start his career on the bench.

He said last year he didn't agree to what the the Sixers were doing. Got to imagine he's been on the trade block for awhile now.

They wanted a first for him last year and no one would give them one for him. I think that his contract is fair but all the reports I read said that GMs around the league think that his contract is too much for him. I think that he'd be great on pretty much any good team and would help them tremendously. He doesn't ask for the ball and doesn't complain, he just works.

He can shoot the 3 now too. He's a good scorer, absolutely capable of being a 3rd scorer on a title team.

Which is funny when you look at some of the contacts given out to players. Channing Frye $32mil/4yrs. But Thaddeus Young $18.8mil/2yrs is too much. GM's are hilarious.

It seems teams are more than willing to dish out a lot of money on players they want to sign but acquiring contracts through trade is something GM's resist hard, for whatever reason.
Thad young is a good player. Dunno why nobody wants him..
