Jennings was subliminally referring to 97' to 14' Kobe so yes it's true.

Because this time I actually agree with the statement.:confusedshrug:

Yes. It doesn't even have to be specific to Kobe..all top-tier offensive greats reach that level where no one person can guard them. 2012 Lebron, 2006 Kobe, 2000 Shaq, 1994 Hakeem, MJ for most of his career, etc. They'll have bad nights, but for the most part when they're on their game no one has a chance.

Muricah is still home to the white man. But soon enough the non-white men will buttrape their white counter-parts until there ain't no white people anymore. Then sh!t like Nash winning MVP over Kobe won't happen again.

Kobe outscored the Mavs by himself through 3 quarters that year. Game was a blowout so he didnt even play in the 4th. Beat them by himself.

Missing 55% of your shots is NOT unstoppable

So kobe luckily scores 81 against the scrub raptors, statpadding like mad and suddenly he's unstoppable?

a 45% shooter is actually garbage, heck lebrons 31.4 ppg on 48% that season was more impressive

Everyone remembers kobe's makes, but "forgot" his 10 bricks in between

unstoppable my ass

Did you just say he lucked his way to 81?

This is shit-tier trolling. I don't even know you and I'm positive you're better than this.

Agree.. Nobody could guard any version of Kobe, not just 06.. 2006 is just one of his best.. Maybe his best scoring season.. Kobe was literally unstoppable that year.. Multiple 60 pts scored, dropping 4 50 pts game in row, the 81 pts against the team that has a player that carry Bran to two titles, 62 points in 3 quarter outscoring the western champions Dallas Mavericks that should have won the titles that year if not for the obvious rigged officiating of the finals, etc.. 2006 Kobe is the best season for a perimeter player in the modern era of all time..

Choked a 3-1 lead and gave up on his team in game 7. And that was against a weak, Amare-less Suns team who's second best player was Boris Diaw.

2008 Spurs were terrible compared to the '07 team. They finished 3rd in the West and struggled against a Chris Paul Hornets team in the 2nd round. Ginobili was injured throughout the playoffs and their role players were ancient. They fell off a cliff after '07.

2007 Spurs SRS: 8.35

2008 Spurs SRS: 5.10

The Spur team Lebron beat last year was much better than the '08 team. Pop was trotting out scrubs like Ime Udoka in their playoff rotation back then. Horry was 38 yrs old, Bowen was 37. That team was decrepit and washed up and struggled all year. 2013 Spurs had crazy depth and were an actual team instead of the two-man show that was playing archaic Iso-ball in 2008.

2013 Spurs SRS: 6.67

And the 2014 Spurs were one of best teams of the decade. They destroyed everyone in the playoffs. Again, much better than the 2008 team.

2014 Spurs SRS: 8.00

Lebron lost to two of the best Spurs teams('07, '14) and beat a pretty good Spurs team last year. Kobe beat one of the worst Spurs teams in 2008.

LOL SRS without context. You do realize that its the time when a 50 win team is just an 8 seed in the west. Whereas ever since the superteam, the competition becomes weak. Spurs hasnt been a top team since 2007 yet they made it to the finals and even the champs because of weak competition and not because they were great.

What the hell are you talking about? The Mavs were 8th seed this year and they were a 49 win team. How the hell is that any different than '08?

Whereas ever since the superteam, the competition becomes weak.

The Western Conference is better now than in it was in 2008-2010. Who were the Lakers competition? An Yao-less Rockets team led by Aaron Brooks? A George Karl Nuggets team led by chucker Melo - a team that never made it out of the first round every other year in the West. A crappy Jazz team that struggled with injuries all year? Spurs/Mavs/Suns - the great teams of the mid 2000s - were all declining and in partial rebuilding mode then. Kobe and the Lakers took advantage of a weak Western Conference that had no great teams. As soon as the Mavs got a decent center, they swept Phil into retirement and humiliated the Lakers.

Spurs hasnt been a top team since 2007 yet they made it to the finals and even the champs because of weak competition and not because they were great.

2013/2014 are the best Spurs team since 2007.
