They lost LeBron but replaced him with a two-time all-star, improved at PG, and shored up their bench with Roberts and Granger. Their roster outside their best player is better now than last year. Bosh is 30, Deng 29, and Wade just came off a 19/5/5 on 55% year and will be 33 (so Bosh and Deng are in the peak years for a basketball player, which usually are 27-30). They are the only team in the East with two superstars. If the claims made about how stacked the Heat were with LeBron were accurate there is no reason for them not to be contenders next year. #noexcuses

I don't think the Spurs belong on this list at all. Even though their regular season performances continue to suggest they're an elite team, popular opinion won't stop from discounting them or suggesting their window is closed. They've collectively won so much, and their stars have had such illustrious careers, that any more championships are simply icing on the cake. If they were to get knocked out in the second round by a bad matchup, it would be disappointing but not heartbreaking.

With that being said... there really is only one championship-or-bust team in the league this year.

While you aren't wrong, casual fans keep telling me we're going to suck. Nobody is expecting us to win a title. Many people don't even think we're going to win the division. Miami is not a championship or bust team. I would say the Cavs, Clippers, and Thunder are. Especially the Thunder.
