I don't have a problem with LeBron anymore, but I can't imagine the amount of players getting into his head in the 90's. The physicality and everything. Dude would have no response for any of it. :oldlol:

Handchecking wouldn't slow him down. It's all these 6 foot 180lb PG's that go wherever they want on the court that would be most effected by it

Kobe locked arms with lebron, more than handchecking

in short it would do nothing to lebron

The absence of zone defense and complex defensive schemes, plus the 80's and 90's had fast paced offence, lebron would have wilt-like stats even in Jordan's era

40/16/9 on 63% is a conservative estimate

He would adapt to it. Hell big, strong, and fast? He'd benefit from it more than most players when he handchecks smaller guards.

The players who would have the most problem with handchecking are small guards.

I think LeBron would strive with hand checking. His defence would be improved as he could muscle people around.

He would have taken a little longer to develop into a top player but he still would have gotten there

Durant would have some serious issues with hand checking. Just not strong enough

You have to have green bars to do that. Others on here just get an Alt and charge up their own bars.

You mad your favorite player retired more than a decade go and the team you bandwagoned on has been irrelevant for also a decade. Your so called MVP can't walk.

How would Lebron perform with the lack of complex defenses, and double teams being illegal? That is the better question.

Hand checking would make the game harder for him, but I think it would be offset by the above factors.

The problem is he's actually not that fast. Not from a stand still, I've seen him struggle to beat a slow ass Omar Asik off the dribble.

Iverson, Jordan, Wade, Kobe, Westbrook etc. they are fast off the dribble/first step ... LeBron, not so much.

If you were allowed to hand check him it would slow him down even further in a half court grind, it would be pretty bad for him actually.

He'd do pretty amazing if he were allowed to use his freakish strength more.

Imagine Lebron playing in with more physical rules against a toothpick like Durant, or even someone like Paul George.

Defensively it would help him, offensively it would hurt him.

If LeBron grew up in that era of ball he wouldn't have any issues...take him now with the way he is use to playing and he would have a harder time, due to getting pushed off his route. The OP pic....Kobe is riding his hip and pushing him out..just look at the play and Lebrons mythical Herculean strength is really exaggerated. According to people on here Kobe should have been tossed into the front row.

Yes, but every other player would be under the same rules as well.

So, it would hurt everyone else's offensive game to a greater degree than his, because he is 250 lbs whereas the average SF is 220 lbs.

If Durant's offense would go down by 8, then Paul George's would go down by 4. And Lebron's would go down by 2. So, relatively speaking, Lebron would go up.

God forbid handchecking was still in place and he had to go up against Goatbe :lol :lol :lol

It'd end like this over and over and over again:roll:

Would a top athlete of LeBron's size do well growing up in a more physical era? I wonder.

People posting ****ing All-star game highlights, like they in any way matter to anyone outside of Kobe and his stans.
