Bite it for about 8-10 seconds. It will hurt, but then it will be numb for 5 minutes. 10 seconds of pain for 5 minutes of relief.

Lol. I have one for a week now. There are ones where it doesn't really hurt that much, but damn, there are ones where it makes you consider killing yourself, & that's what I have right now. lol

Can't eat anything with sauce, but even some of the spices hurt when it touches it. It's not a good time.

to be fair it comes across worse in text when you're probably thinking valley girl, think more monotone with no pause after 'like', and its representative of not being 100% sure its worst thing ever...

i do it too sometimes since you don't want to just say its the worst thing ever blanket when its not. it gives insecurity there to reflect that sentiment.

I soak a q-tip in listerine then apply it to the sore every now and then. It numbs it for a little bit and i would think it keeps it clean so it heals faster.

Create baking power paste with water and apply a thin layer to the canker sore 3-5 times a day. Or simply gargle with baking power water 3-5 times a day

Used to get them bad because I have sharp teeth. Used to go says without talking when I was younger. I intact just got one last night from sleeping on the side of my mouth. Painful. Can't even talk.

For those who don't know, canker sores are like gaping craters in your mouth. They are usually white in color.

I've gotten them once in a while ever since I was a teen. I got used to the pain by now. Don't really get them anymore unless I bite my lip with my canine teeth.

Back when I was a kid and visiting Jordan with family for vacation, I got a massive case of canker sores, like 6 of them and I couldn't eat man, I was in some serious pain cause one of them mofo's was chilling right on the side of my tongue f***k**g things up!

This Jordanian family my dad knew learned of my plight when they saw that I was not eating any food at their house, and the mom went to the kitchen and boiled some brown looking pods or bark and told me to gargle with it a few times now and later.

I gargled like a champ cause it wasn't painful and went to bed hungry. The next morning I woke up and all the canker sores were starting to heal, they weren't gone, but they were small enough that I could eat without crying like a little b***h I was at the time.

Got Damn, I never found out what they gave me cause we left a day later.

If any of you got some family in the middle east, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, etc, ask them if they know this magic cure for canker sores and I'll owe you a lifetime of gratitude and if it works again like it did as a kid, I'll even bang you!
