He turned down 30 million to play with James Harden and Trevor Ariva in Houston. Traded away Lin, let Parsons go, No Bosh, No Anthony... http://www.thecoli.com/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/holeup.png

Still better than the squad he'd have in LA. Could you imagine being on a team with Jordan Hill, Nick Young, and Jeremy Lin making about $30 mil next year; and then $25 mil more going to Kobe?

If Lakers werent jealous of Clippers and Dwight wasn't afraid of being overshadowed by Blake Griffin.
Dwight would have been a Clipper.

He actually didnt turn down any money...
California is a Democratic wasteland and, thus, their tax rate is nearly the highest in the nation.
Even with the extra money LA could have offered, he made almost an identical amount playing in Texas for less (no income tax).
oh the horror

If Dwight stayed, I highly doubt it would be the team you're seeing now. The gameplan would have been different for Mitch and them.

I think having Hakeem and McHale was a big part of his decision.
