Looking at the numbers it was nice, but I get OPs point. No game stood out where you just said WOW, and shit.
That game vs Indy where him and LeBron went off is about all I can really remember that made my jaw drop

Wade was good against Indiana when Bosh was injured in 2012. That was probably his best series as a part of that Heat era.

Playing with LeBron was a poor fit for him playing wise from the beginning. Bron can't deal with playing alongside a ball dominant player, something had to give, and it was Wade's overall offensive comfort zone and Bosh's turn and face post game that got the axe.
Their playing styles really never meshed well, and I always said it, they were never a great TEAM together. They just won on pure talent and some fluke bail out by Ray Allen in 2013. Otherwise they'd probably be 1/4 in that Finals run.

would have had a more memorable moment than either of lebrons best if james didnt sabotage the finals
a 2011 finals mvp in a real season, no lockout, no ray allen bail out...would have been the best memorable moment
It's pretty comical watching LeBron stans attempting to revise history, now that LeBron no longer plays for the Heat. Just know your boy had zero NBA finals victories until he came to Wade County. Son had his tail tucked in between his ass against the Celtics.

I'm not sure exactly what OP means by "moments" but my favorite play was his steal and dunk in game 4 of the '13 finals. That was definitely one of the signature plays of the series. I also like the fullcourt football pass hitting LeBron in stride for the alley.

You mean if Wade didn't ask the best player on the planet to take a backseat so he could try to get another FMVP.
Once that backfired and James was givin' full control, he turned them into B2B Champions.

I believe Wade and Bosh coat-tailed Lebron to these past two titles, not any other way besides that...unsure what Lebron did with the Cavs have to do with what he did with the Heat. bottom line is he won multiple rings and was the clear leading player in the 4-year tenure within the Heat org. him reaching the Finals prior only shows how great he is and how inept the Cavs org was at providing a proper 2nd option.

good to know some ppl realize this...James goes from dominating all playoff's long in 2011 to being irrelevant? lol...yea, I don't beleive that one bit when Lebron just came off a pretty good series on his own.
not to mention, Lebron literally refused to shoot in the 2011 Finals. he gave Wade the window to get his last hooray in as the leader and Wade couldn't provide. the 1a-1b tandem never worked well from inception, and until Wade gave up the notion of being the leader of the team, did the Miami Heat prosper into being COMPLETELY a dominant team lead by Lebron.
Wade's absence in the 2014 Finals surely showed Lebron how much he could rely on the "superstar" Wade going forward...which rolled over from 2013 too.

The only players who are being discredited in this thread are Wade, and the rest of the Heat players who contributed to the historic run. LeBron is an all time great player, and him along with another all time great in Wade, and Bosh(the few times he showed up) spearheaded the attack.
And facts are: LeBron was RINGLESS before playing with Wade. That doesn't ring true (no pun intended) the other way around.

41 and 10 Gm 6 vs the Pacers in 2012
in fact the last 3 games of that series by him
Game 1 vs the Celtics in 2011 when he made Ray Allen fall and turned KG around with the Euro.
Game 5 vs the Bulls in 2011 when him and Lebron went crazy at the end, when he hit that step back 3 over Rose plus the foul.

it's not a blame...Wade played great but I think there definite leader issue going into the Finals and who would come out as FMVP had the Heat won.
Lebron basically coasted it...not even involved offensively, something you've never seen from him, really. either he's in setting up his teammates or scoring, he basically did neither for majority of that series.

It's pretty funny how you're a supposedly a 'Heat fan', and you're harping on my post in regards to LeBron.
Yet this thread is basically insinuating that Wade (a Miami Heat Heat lifer) had little to no impact on the Heat's run these past four years, and you seemingly take no issue with that complete nonsense.
It's only the post about LeBron being ringless , before joining the Heat that bothers you? I wonder why? Hmmmmmm.
It's probably because you're a LeBron stan, who has masqueraded himself a Heat fan these past four years.

Actually, you're giving Lebron a little bit too much credit and not giving Wade enough. Whether if it was Wade or Bosh going off, Lebron didn't know how to play in a role where he wasn't comfortable in...a second or third option. He wasn't fully engaged in all facets of game unless he controlled everything his way and getting the attention he believes he deserves. Sure Lebron is unselfish enough to let another player do his thing, but at that time, he wasn't able to play off of it and that's not Wade's fault. And fyi, Wade was just as good as Lebron that season. 2 headed monster with no clear leader. Wade averaged freaking 30/7/5 on 53% against the Celtics. Is that not enough to be considered 1a and 1b with Lebron?
Both have great superstar egos. In response to your Wade's ego statement, you can say the same thing about Lebron. It's not like they were getting their butts whipped. They were on the verge of a winnable championship. Honestly, Wade stepping back as #2 was him being the bigger brother and looking out for the long run. Lebron plays winning basketball, but Wade plays championship basketball. It wasn't about Wade stepping back that brought Lebron James his first championship. It was more about the Miami Heat being pretty lucky to have gone against the young Thunder core the following year. The iso-ball between Westbrook and Durant (and disappearance of Harden) fell directly into Miami's defensive game plan. For their second chip, Lebron needed every bit of big brother Wade in the finals and Wade flipped the series around.
Yes, Wade needed Lebron to win championships, but Lebron needed Wade as well.

Lebron checked out in 2011 because he wanted to help Wade win FMVP by providing him with no support and incessant ball stopping on the way to choking away a 15 point lead that Wade was mostly responsible for building? He helped Wade's career by losing him a ring and Finals mvp? Your logic is utterly dumbfounding.

This argument is just a plain lie. In the clutch in the playoffs against the Mavs that year:
http://stats.nba.com/leaguePlayerClutch.html?pageNo=1&rowsPerPage=25&Season=2010-11&filters=&OpponentTeamID=1610612742
Wade shoots 56%, 40% from 3. Bron shoots 0%, and misses all 7 of his shots in clutch situations. Wade makes 5 of 9, with 2 3s. It isn't hard to see where the series was lost now is it?
As for the 'Dallas were focused on Bron' fabrication, well, Miami and Wade played better with Lebron on the bench than on the floor, so that is another claim of yours that can be easily disproven.

Anyone who plays with Lebron, gets all their achievements trivialized by his Stans all the time.
Take Boobie Gibson for example. He put the team on his back in the 2007 ECF, but never gets credit for it.
Game 1 - gets 5 minutes of playing time; Pistons win
Game 2 - gets 19 minutes; Pistons win
Game 3 - gets 30 minutes; Cavs win
Game 4 - scores 21 points on only 7 FGA; Cavs win
Game 5 - Lebron's best game of his career; Cavs win.
Game 6 - Boobie shoots 7 for 9, and 5 for 5 from 3pt range, scores 31 points, while Lebron shoots 3 for 11; Cavs win series.
When the game was close, look who took over late in the 3rd:

Any player without at least 1 MVP should NOT BE CALLED A SUPERSTAR.
Durant just made his bone last season.
All you have to do is refer to 2006, and that's death to all LeBron stans.
There will never ever be a caveat attached to Wade's career, that he "needed Lebron to win".
We already saw when Wade was healthy, in his prime, and was equipped with a good supporting cast(Wade teams in 2009 and 2010 were crapola), he could get the team over the hump.
LeBron's 2010 Cleveland team was really not all that different from Wade's 2006 Heat, yet he couldn't get over them hump.
Hell, Shaq was as good against Boston in 2010, as he was against the Dallas Mavericks in 2006...But Bran had his tail tucked in between his ass in game 5. Series was tied at 2-2, coming home, and he dropped 15/7. Used a fake elbow injury as an excuse/cover up for playing like shit. :oldlol:

Had Wade not have Shaq and the refs in 06, he will be ringless without Lebron.
Can you remind me how many rings LeBron without Wade?
@Dresta, That guys is a LeBron stan who pretends to be a Heat fan. All he ever does is talk shit about Wade. It's like as if Wade ****ed his girl/mom or something like that. Dude is a clown.
Oh and Wade's memorable moments?
2011:
- 28/7/5/2/1 on 51% over a 51 game stretch in '11. His last season as a top 3 player.
- 38/5/3/2/1 on 67/40/90 and 34/10/5/4 on 68% against the Celtics.
- 30/7/5/2/1 in the series against the Celtics no 62% TS.
- 27/7/5/2/2 on 61% TS in the Finals.
2012:
- 24/5/5/2/1 on 59% TS over a 35 game stretch on a bad knee.
- 30/9/6/2/1 on 57/100/33 against the Pacers, afar everyone said he was done.
- 33/7/4/2/1 on 64% TS over the 3 game domination of the Pacers.
- 23/6/5/1/1 on 52% TS in the Finals (again, on a bad knee).
2013:
- 23/5/6/2/1 on 52% over a 45 game stretch, including 23/6/6/2/1 on 54% during the streak.
- One of Miami clutchest player (on the offensive and defensive end) during the streak.
- 32/6/4/6 on 60% TS in a must win Game 4 of the Finals.
- 23/10/1/1/2 on 52% in the Game 7. Out rebounded Miami's starting C.
2014:
Meh. Outside of his series against the Pacers and the first 3 quarters of game 1 of the Finals, it was pretty much forgettable.
EDIT: Totally forgot that Wade was like the 4th SG to shoot over 54% a game, while averaging at least 15 PPG and playing 50 games.

I dont think ppl realize in 2011 Wade forced LeBron to defer since Wade wanted FMVP bad, they talked about it before LeBron even signed
LeBron was supposed to distribute, and Wade lead the way winning FMVP
Problem was Wade was too beta to will his team to victory, thus the next few years he allowed Bron to take his natural alpha position.
yup...Wade expected Lebron to be 2nd fiddle because Miami was his team. as great as they seemed to look as 1a-1b, it was a complete disconnect that first year. we had countless threads here acknowledging how much of a waste one player standing aside to give each other their turn looked atrocious. i'm sure we can bump the hundreds of "Robin to Batman" threads that I'm sure some of the naysayers here are in, as well
now they wanna say it was a GREAT tactic to prop Wade seeing Lebron has left. there can NEVER be 2 leaders on the floor, one always has to be clearly in front of the other and that had to be Lebron from the jump. Wade didn't want to relinquish the role initially, and Lebron didn't want to step on his toes either. it cost them the 1st title. that's not hard to see. :confusedshrug:
as for the boston series...ok, both were great. but exactly how rare was that? how often has Wade been consistently good for a series to continue this notion? it's few and far between, even when the attention was primarily on James, and then Wade having the easier path to thrive. the REAL winning and dominance didn't come through until Lebron was placed at the front and Wade behind him...it's proven, 2 titles and a 27-game win streak under it. what more do you need to attest to it?
even worse this last season...all this regimen to keep Wade healthy to only fail in the Finals. it's why I don't stand by Wade until he proves himself for Miami again. I rather be the a-hole and tell him bye to bring in less-prone-to-injury Stephenson, at an even more discounted rate, too. Wade was good when he was Flash, but that's history and the past doesn't help us win going forward. in 2 yrs, I just hope Pat does the right thing and pay him the $5mil he deserves going forward or tell him retire and sit in the box seats where I am

I would take Mark Cuban s opinion over you. He owns a basketball team. He knows all the strategies used by the Mavs, he was there with the team when they prepared their gameplans. And he certainly knows basketball more than you.
If you look back at their games, you would see that he was right. If the role players made their wide open shots instead of passing them or missing them, Mavs would be done.

2010/2011:
- AMAZING performances vs. Boston and Dallas in the postseason (8th highest PER in a Finals series. Yeah his 2006 is number one)
- Back to back 40 point games vs. New York and then Houston (Not something you see happen all the time)
- Dunk on Perkins
2011/2012:
- Game 4 and Game vs. Indy, where him and LeBron basically took over the series.
- Some great games vs. OKC in the Finals
2012/2013:
- Really came to life in the Finals against San Antonio. Some even argued he was in the lead for the FMVP after Game 4.

Chris Bosh: 19 PPG on 41% = Not stepping up.
Chalmers: 12 PPG on 40% from the 3 = Not stepping up.
I guess LeBron needed another 15 PPG scorer, who can hit 45% from the 3 to win (overcome LeBron's choke).

When you have Mike Bibby and Joel Anthony in the starting five, that makes it 3 on 5 offensively. Those 2 defenders are used against Lebron. They play off their man and come as help defenders against Lebron.
Watch the games instead of using useless stats.

You're the idiot who is using YT clips of another dude's opinions. I did watch the games. Heck, I've seen the entire series multiple times. Now go whine more. LeBron couldn't win with a 27 PPG SG, 19 PPG PF, and a 12 PPG PG.
Game 4: 3/11 for 6 points and 2 points off of a flop. 0-3 from the 3, 2-4 from the FT line and 4 TOV's as well.

:oldlol:
Interested to see if there's ever been a player (in the modern era) to avg. 16.2 FTA in a 6 game Finals series. In games 5 and 6 combined he received 46FTA.
That 2006 Finals is remembered more for the ref's and Wade's living at the FT line more than he's remembered for winning the title.

Fact 1 - Wade was a beast and didn't have help from his #2.
Fact 2 - Bosh Was playing pretty decently (considering his decline).
Fact 3 - Chalmers shot 40% from the 3 and scored 12 PPG.

Revisionist history. He was doubled/tripled on probably about a quarter of his shots. Almost the same as Wade. Heck, Wade attracted more defensive attention in the '06 Finals.
Are you trying to say that LeBron cannot score when players actually defend him? That would make him a cherry-picking and extremely overrated scorer.

Wade had no memorable moments during 2010-14? What in the word you talking about? :confusedshrug:
Game 3 (2011) against the 76ers. Wade had 32 points, 10 rebounds, 1-2 blocks, 2 steals, and if I am not mistaken he had 9 dimes. Not memorable?
Then you move ahead to game 5, against the 76ers, D-Wade had 26/11/7
Or, same year (2011), playoffs against the Celtics in the 1st game, Wade 38 points, 5 dimes, 3 steals, and 2 blocks.
Wade had some memorable moments.

LeBron averaged 15.7 FT's a game against the Magic in '09. Yet, you idiots consider it to be one of the GOAT performances. 14.2 over 14 games, as a matter of fact. Heck, LeBron routinely averaged over 13 FTA's/g per series.

It's is when it's actually earned and not handed out like candy at a parade.
Wade earned his free throws, and that's why he and the Heat won the 2006 NBA Title.
Wade went to free throw line in the NBA Finals, with the same propensity that he did ALL SEASON. He averaged 10.7 FTA for the 82 game regular season. Him averaging 16 a game over a 6 game sample wasn't some unforeseen circumstance for the 2006 NBA season. It likely happened a handful of times over the course of the regular season. And considering he was at his most aggressive in the Finals, logic will tell you he'd get to the line a ton, in which he did.
Dwyane Wade in 2006 Regular season: 10.7 FTA per game
Dwyane Wade in the 2006 Post-season: 10.9 FTA per game
Identical free throw rate in regular season, and post-season. Sit down, clown.
Next.

If Wade had LeBron's health, he would've had a top 10 career by now.
