So I don't really watch women's basketball, for obvious reasons... but I recorded the WNBA All-Star game from a few days ago and watched it today.

I have to say, it was a thoroughly entertaining game. Girls dunking the ball, hitting NBA range 3's... even some rookie out there I have never heard of pulling off some CP3 type shit.

Anyways, there isn't any other basketball on right now, so if you get the chance, you should watch the game.

Why is she so popular? I mean, she's an average rookie coming off the bench, she was taken 8th overall, not a looker. How did she get so many all-star votes?

I am a huge WNBA fan. I have been since day one of the league and of women's basketball since the 80s.

This last all-star game, Sunday, was really exciting because of players like Showtime Shoni, Skylar, Brittney, Maya, and the Ogwumike sisters, just to name a few. But the WNBA is a great league and there are some really great basketball games being played in the WNBA.
