Carlisle is probably going to turn him into a decent bench player.

2 year, 2.1 mil... 2nd year player option. That is a cheap contract for a decent bench rotation player.

That's a real good signing and replacement for Marion.

Just hoping Clippers can somehow sign Marion and dump Dudley for a TPE.

I feel like Aminu has the tools to be a great 3, but he just cant put it all together. He came into the league raw, but he not really refined his game since. He showed flashes of being a solid defender and small forward as a rook but hasnt done much to improve. He is still very inconsistent.

His biggest + for Dallas is his rebounding ability.

You guys have a very, very good team now.

If you guys get Allen, I'd say your up there as one of the favorites.

Dallas has been on the spotlight this offseason. Most of the news posted about FAs are related to them. Good signing for cheap, hope Carlisle improves his flashes of defense.

The dude is realllly dumb. Not even like he has a bad attitude, but in terms of actual brain function. He barely has any.

Not sayin he cant be a useful player . But just pointing out that he is extremely stupid.

Good signing for the Mavs as I thought they needed some athleticism at the 3/4 spots. Maybe Carlisle can turn him into one of those athletic swingman that have no offensive games but can run the floor, block shots, etc(Hakim Warrick esque) Might come in handy when the Mavs are up against an athletic big and need a body

He wanted more money than they were willing (or able) to give and he also wants to start. Not sure if he'll get either of those elsewhere but it wasn't going to happen in Dallas.

It was time to end that era in Dallas. Marion's offensive game started to really hurt us last year and his defense didn't warrant his playing time.

Really loved him for us though.

Mavs made some damn good moves this offseason.

Nelson, Felton, Mekel
Ellis, Harris, Ledo
Parsons, Aminu, Jefferson
Nowitzki, Smith, Crowder
Chandler, Wright

Very solid. Rick Carlisle should have no issues making some noise with that roster.

Absolute freaking steal. Donnie and Cubes are getting some incredible bargains this offseason..Dirk's deal, Devin's deal, R-Jeff on min, Shard on min before voiding his deal, Aminu on min, and Nelson on the 2.7 exception!

Loving this offseason...incredible depth. It's going to be a fun season

Massive steal. I like Aminu, he can't shoot for shit but he is a great rebounder for his position and can defend alright. Still has a lot of potential he hasn't reached yet as well, Dallas is a good team for him to go too.

Like the pickup. Really wish he could shoot though.

Still super raw and loads of potential. Hopefully we find a way to develop him in a "Spurs-like" way...if we could turn him into a decent 3 point shooter he could really play an integral role on this team.

You know how I can tell you're excited about the dallas season?

You're posting frequency is like you're on crack :lol

They are the biggest surprise of the off season. I didn't think they could turn their team into a contender like this.

haha.

so much interesting stuff going on right now. about to die down for a while though.

if mavs sign nelson/aminu today...we are essentially done for the summer.

still a few you interesting things going on, but once the Love stuff is settled (hopefully soon)...it's a boring few months for NBA fans.

Pretty satisfied with what we've done so far.

I want no part of a love trade but that's me.

I honestly believe we have enough, considering we are likely favorite out of east, then a great chance against whoever comes out of the west, could be mavs.

We have been the second best team behind Miami for years with a half healthy rose.

Now that he is back, we should be favorite

Have you been asleep all off season?

Mcbuckets, mirotic, gasol, bairstow, improved Snell, brooks have all been added?

We are far more dynamic and dangerous than what we've had before.

McDermott, Mirotic and Bairstow are nice, but they are all NBA rookies. Snell a good 3 & D guy, nothing more. Gasol at this point isn't a huge leap over Boozer. Neither gan defend, and Gasols offense pretty bad. Big improvement on ball movement though. None of, nor the sum of those guys makes the Bulls a contender.

Doesn't mater though, whoever wins the WCF will win the finals.

We wouldnt have to improve much on previous teams surely to be a contender...

Anyways, let's see what happens. I'm pretty confident.
