2001 seems like better source material..

No rational person thinks the moon landing was real.
And why the hell was the shuttle wrapped in tinfoil?

So that they would bake better, don't you know anything about cooking?

Don't you think if it was fake, someone who worked on the fake video would have come out?

So you're not convinced that he directed the moon landing?
What are you even trying to say? What a mess of contradictions.

I suggest watching the documentary "room 237" is you haven't already. I personally don't believe the moon theory but certainly pick up on the undertones and messages

The Shining is LOADED with all types of subliminal messages. Kubrick was probably just messing with the pothead conspiracy theorists of the day.

I liked the scene where Ullman comes from behind the desk to greet Jack and a black tray perfectly aligns itself to look like an erect phallus.

Conspiracy theories are just like religion. You're believing something based on your feelings. Unless you have evidence stfu.

Fulfilling JFK's promise to get there by the end of the decade. Propaganda victory blah blah blah. Because landing on the moon totally made up for our failure to stop communism from spreading to South Vietnam.

How did man-made reflectors get there exactly?

One of the most bizarrely entertaining things I've seen in th past year. If you enjoy The Shining, and my friends and I went through a phase in High School where we were pretty much obsessed with Jack Nicholson (he's just hysterically funny in stuff that isn't supposed to be funny, like One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest is among my favorite movies ever, and I find it hysterical, even though Nurse Ratchet is on the Darth Vader level of movie villains in my opinion), then you owe to yourself to check out this documentary. It's crazy.
I love the way it edited all the crazy theories together. It was as if they were teasing you along nearly to the point where you could buy into "Kubrick is telling the world he directed the Moon Landing" ... then all of a sudden "Wait ... the hotel WAS built on an Indian Burial Ground!!"
It's like the stonerist of stonery things I've ever watched.
