this kid doesn't deserve this. it was supposed to be his team, his show, his city

he was a nice kid. well raised. not selfish at all. he worked hard to get drafted #1. goes to a team and is instantly the most popular athlete on the cavs

then lebron gets jealous and runs it to steal the spotlight again ( same way he did when he stole wades team )

then lebron demands the cavs trade him

the media bites on the story and starts trashing wiggins publicly. one idiot even said he doesn't "want it" because hes canadian

coaches are coming out saying "cavs would be crazy not to trade wiggins"

cavs tell wiggins he won't be traded. then a day later add him in trade talks

i dunno about you guys but this kid doesn't deserve this circus of bullshit

all those fans out there who bought a wiggins jersey are gonna end up throwing them in the trash

this kids party is over. he had a great opportunity in cleveland with all the up and coming stars. now he's gonna be shipped off to the worst franchise in the nba to die

lebron should man up and try and make the pieces he has work before damanding changes.

the media needs to give this kid a fair shot too. he went from the most hyped superstar draft pick in nba history to "not even good enough to be a robin"

if you ask me.. this is bullshit

The NBA is a business, and Cleveland is traditionally quite bad at this business, so their lack of tack and flip-flopping should really be expected.

To be completely fair though, we do not know what is going on behind the scenes. Perhaps they 'included' Wiggins to see what other offers would come up for Love so they know what they are up against with the idea that they would never deal him in the first place (like they said before).

The kid is the most scrutinized player we have seen in quite some time, for example his jumpshot is better than MJ, Kobe, LeBron or TMac when they were nineteen, but all we hear is he can't shoot. He has several highlights from summer league attacking the rim, but all we hear is he cannot finish around the rim. We hear he has no motor and can't take over but he has demonstrated the opposite several times.

I don't even beef about what Jason Whitlock said, he is basically a professional troll who lacks the discipline to keep his mouth shut both on air and at the buffet table. He's said stupid shit before, and been fired for it, he thinks people can't change because he can't, but he needs to realize other people have more self-respect to check their opinions and keep their weight sub-300.

Cleveland has been gifted 4 number one overall picks who are all below thirty. If they want to flush some of that away that is their decision.

Cleveland is gonna be Cleveland.

He needs to go to Minnesota. It needs to happen. For everyone. For him. For Minnesota. For Cleveland. Everybody wins with that trade. It needs to happen.

Nah. It's just business, the nature of the beast, he's still getting paid millions of dollars.

I feel more sympathy for the less talented athletes struggling to make it.

I feel more bad for Randle tbh

he's an average tweener thats gonna be crushed with expectations as Laker fans are pressuring him to be the messiah that leads the Lakers to a ring

Have you seen him play? Not even his mom believes he's gonna lead the league in anything, let alone the Laker scrubs to a ring :oldlol:

:oldlol: you've got some deep seated personal issues with Kobe and the Lakers don't you? Though your user name would suggest that you have personal issues with Durant, seems like you hate Kobe more. Should change it to kobrick or kobeta or some shit like that.

Pretty sure Kyrie Irving is still on the team.

Hard to feel sorry for anyone making 4.5 million to play basketball.

And Minneapolis > Cleveland (not basketball) but just in general.

meh ... he's getting millions to professionally play the game we all love and would play for free if financially/physically possibly so the amount of sympathy I have for his current situation is minimal ... he'll be fine

Not many Cavs fans want him traded. Those are Lebron only fans wanting to see him play on another stacked team that do. Most Cavs fans want to keep him.

pretty much this.

Cavs the org have assured him he's staying. Media is causing problems and ISH of course blames Cleveland.

Most fans want to keep him and/or not jump the gun and rush into a trade.

And the NBA is a business. It's what the players sign up for. Cavs should do what they are doing.. due diligence.

LOL.

If anything, Wiggins has gotten too much credit for doing nothing great at all in college last season.

Jabari Parker is the one you should be concerned about not getting enough credit. He played great last year and gets less credit.
