Fair enough. But you think he'll only shoot 31% from 3? He shot 33% this year and he was absolutely terrible at shooting the 3 earlier in the season and finished really well.

I'll say 18/5/4.
I could see him getting 20ppg in his third or fourth season (already at 14/4/4 last year).
But I think 17-18ppg next year would be a huge success having to share the ball with Harris, Vucevic and Frye.
The catalysts for Orlando are going to be Payton and Frye. If Elfrid breaks down defenses and you have Frye opening everything up, Oladipo should have a great year.
Wade went from 16/4/4 his rookie year to 24/7/5 his second year. I think Oladipo will be somewhere in between this upcoming season and then really start blossoming his 3rd and 4th seasons.

Yeah it'll be tough. I really hope Vaughn plays Payton a lot with Oladipo because I feel like Oladipo can flourish in that position. He has good off the ball instincts. Didn't know Wade made that much of a massive jump.

I expect more of a scoring increase a bit. Reasons for your averages?

Someone on the Magic (maybe more) will make significant jumps in scoring. My bet is on Harris and Oladipo but Vucevic could be a sleeper...depends on how he plays with Frye.
They got rid of Jameer + Afflalo who were a combined 30ppg and they took a ton of shots.

Thinking about it, he'll probably get closer to 16ppg, but i dont expect much more. I think Fournier, BG, Tobias will take upon most of the scoring duties on the wings, unless one or more of them misses half the season, i don't see Dipo getting enough opportunities to score.

Ben Gordon isn't going to be playing more than 10.min per game. Fournier and Harris will help dipo, not stop him from scoring.

One thing about Dipo is that he's going to be a far superior 3pt shooter than Wade.

Yep but I don't see Oladipo be as dominant as lets say a 09 Wade or 06 Finals Wade. I don't think he's HOF quality like Wade but I think he will be a 5 time all star with more defensive team selections. Kind of like a consistent 20 ppg Eddie Jones.

Dude averaged 13.8 ppg 4.1 rpg 4.1 apg on .419 shooting for a sh*tty Orlando team. Some of the numbers being posted are ridiculous. Guy is a role player.
Any leap this guy takes statistically will be at the detriment of the team because he's not a PG or someone who can initiate the offense at a high level.

This guy is just a flat out mediocre jump shooter all the way around. His FG% from 3ft and out is poor even for a rookie. He not only has to improve his 3p shot, he's got to make huge leaps in the midrange where he shot 38% despite shooting 2 out of every 10 shots there. He was also pretty much non existent in the floater area of the court.

If you'd watched any games you would realise he played out of position amd wasn't handed the team like mcw was. He had to defer to jameer and afflalo.

Its called rebuilding. I understand you only know nba through espn highlights but part of becoming a team with a chance of getting past the first round is rebuding for most teams. I'm glad you're happy with the knicks being mediocre and a non factor but I wish the knicks would blow it up and rebuild too so they can actually compete rather than make the play off with no chance of winning.

100% agree. A jump to 16/5/5 on 44% is realistic. Either that or 18/5/5 on 40%.
