Impractical Jokers
Some hate it, but its hilarious.

Breakout Kings.
2 Seasons long, and is epic. Will leave you with a big cliff hanger though.

NYC 22.
1 Season long, entertaining cop show with Leelee Sobeiski and Adam Goldberg

Freaks & Geeks
1 Season, shit is hilarious.

Undeclared
Same as Freaks & Geeks

Ray Donovan is really good and underrated.
Black sails was a semi decent pirate show.
If you want a comedy watch Peep show, funniest show i've ever seen.
Right now I'm watching tyrant and the leftovers, both are so so. Tyrant seems like it has the frame work for a decent story but half the actors seem like they should be on days of our lives and ruin episodes.

If you want some older finish shows try watching Rome, Oz or Deadwood. 3 of the best HBO shows made.

Tim Duncan. One of the hottest new shows of the year. Chronicles his career as a D&D player. Very intriguing shit.

Wow they went with a dungeons and dragons angle? I thought it was going to be a project runway style show where the contestants make renaissance costumes and Duncan judges them? Did they scrap that aspect?

True Detective as someone else said, on the level of BB and GoT.

But if you want something really easy to catch up on, try out Rick and Morty. Twenty minute episodes and the whole 1st season is up on YouTube. It's hilarious.

Orphan Black is good too. Only four episodes in but it's pretty underrated.

Also crazy thing about Rick and Morty, is that is came from this dumb YouTube video from 2006.

I recommend The Shield. One of the best shows you will ever watch.

Sopranos or Rugrats

Mad Men and The Sopranos are two all-time level shows.

Hannibal's second season is a step below them, so is True Detective.

Big Love is crazy underrated, it's about a "normal" polygamist family. Dude has 3 wives, and they live in 3 houses next to each other, he rotates with who he spends the night with.

You'll either like it or you won't. I doesn't really change in tone. The character development does increase a lot as the show continues.

The first nude scene on Orange is the new Black caught my attention so I just finished the 2 seasons. It's okay so far and sometimes it gets kinda slow. But I do expect some Prison Break sh*t for season 3

Thank y'all for the recommendation. Imma try TD

True Detective as AW said. It's pretty good. Not ready to say Br Ba level. But I'm about to watch the 6th episode.

Friday Night Lights is a really great show.

Yeah, I binge watched it recently and it is an awesome show. Great production and good acting all around. Kind of trails off the last two seasons but still good.

Fargo - only 1 season and some of the best acting, directing, writing I've seen in a television show. It's up there with Breaking Bad.

Also watch Vikings if you like the brutality of Spartacus.

Didn't this show become boring as hell? Always the same shit. I couldn't even get myself to watch the last season. Same with my friends they were so high on it in the first seasons and then completely lost interest.

it did drop off but there is still nothing like it. its leagues above everything else that tries(Grimm is the worst)

i'm still waiting for the last season to hit netflix, can't wait.

its also a extremely creative show. they change it up a lot, even mocks itself quite a bit, the writer is good.

The last two seasons moved too far away from the original cast I thought. Still good viewing though. I also think it's a great show for the OP to watch over the summer. The shows cinematography plays nicely into the warm weather months we're having.
