The big rumor was that he had HIV. Hmmm...

Isn't it kind of weird that he dropped off like that? Without anyone really asking why or the NBA really hasn't mentioned him AT ALL.

Almost like he didn't exist

My favourite player. Became a fan of the Cavs when they drafted him.

Go Cavs!

He got diagnosed with ulcerative colitis and had to have his entire colon removed.

He tried to make a few comebacks but they were unsuccessful.

There have been a lot of players that have fallen off the map, grid, etc.

Makes me think there is a conspiracy.

He dropped 100 in a HS game but he was a bust in the league.

Dude was an undersized chucker who couldn't shoot anyway. Was not going to be a good nba player. Feel bad for him about the medical stuff but don't miss the player.

He had the ability to be the next Allen Iverson, but injuries cut him short.

HE was also the best HS player/Scorer I have ever seen play. Too bad U no nothing about him and what happened to him. He was a True Legend even while still in HS.

Was supposed to be LeBrons first big help. Health problems aside, he was without doubt a bust in the league.

Again U know nothing about him or his story..too much to explain to U just know that he DOMINATED College and Semi Pro players when he was in like the 9th and 10th grade. He was sick and played through it for 2 years. He was far from terrible as rookie btw he averaged 14 ppg. He was friends with AI while he was still in HS.. Pro players knew who he was and he practiced with Pros since he was 16. I saw PG Jay Williams(Bulls)Kyrie Irving,JR Smith,Tim Thomas, Al Harrington, Kidd Gilchrist,Randy Foye and many others from NJ play live and Juanny was the best..

yeah I know all about him. I don't care that he scored 100 pts in a game. Not sure if you know this but the NBA games are played in the NBA not high school against men not boys. Maybe you should have watched him play in the NBA. The dude shot too much but couldn't shoot a lick. So yeah, he was an undersized chucker.

Yep, Calipari told him that he was revoking his scholarship to force him to go pro and get his money. Really respect him for that. Say what you want but Cal really does care about his players.

Yeah I'm sure that Wagner who shot 41% in college was dominating college players in the 9th grade..

Pro players know a shit load of big HS prospects, that doesn't validate anything.

There have been bigger legends in HS than Wagner was who never even made the league. So there's that I guess.

My post on Wagner from another thread:

I never like to see a player's career end due to injury, but I didn't like Wagner's game at all. I didn't care for him in college, and saw basically every college game that he played. He was the first of these one and done superstar guards that Caliapari recruited. Being a Memphis Tiger fan, my whole life, I didn't like the fact that Caliapari gave Wagner the green light to shot jack at will, especially when we had a potential All American big man on the team. When the Cavs drafted Wagner so high, I was like, "Do y'all know what y'all got?" I saw him as an inefficient volume shooter from the get go who only scored a bunch of points in college because the coach allowed him to shoot.

When he got to the pros he had a bad vision problem his first year and it was hard to correct.

Yes it's called tunnel vision. He could only see the basket and nothing else which cause him to shoot and shoot some more. Unfortunatlry he couldn't even see the basket well so he missed a lot.
