He had a workout with Durant just now. Looked like he broke a good sweat. Dude's working his ass off, you can tell.

Go Austin!!!

It's who you surround yourself with, dude.

You can see he potential in him.

Guy just had a workout with KEVIN DURANT. He instantly got better. Just like that. Cuz of Kevin Durant. Now that he's with the Sours, I can see him replacing Duncan when he retires, and become the next KG. Easily.

I'll set the over/under at 3 years before Austin Daye is the best player in the NBA.

I always thought he would. But it would only be if grew into (added 20-40 pounds) playing the 4. I think it's amazing he's still in the league as a perimeter player.

Is he still on the spurs? I wanted him for Knicks

I think the Spurs should try to play him more in the regular season next year.
I wouldn't trust him to make the big shot in the Finals if they make it there, but he can help teammates rest without hurting San Antonio's chances of getting the number 1 seed.

I always thought the same about Anthony Randolph too, but I guess some players just don't get it. They can put up pretty stats and what not, but something is just missing.

You have guys like Chris Douglas Roberts and Gerald Green who have been in and out of the league, and struggled to hold onto their spots, despite being supremely talented. Yet Scal and Joel Anthony and others stay in the league despite being absolute trash outside of one small aspect of the game.

Star? Maybe. I always thought that he could play given the right team and coach. Now that he is with the Spurs, he could get to the star level. I just wonder about his confidence and drive now. I mean you get 4-8 minutes a game. U get 8 FGA a game, when you play. If you miss one, you on the bench. That does a lot to a players confidence. So a star? Maybe.

just because he isn't white, and unathletic, doesn't mean his biggest problem isn't just like most other draft fall outs.

inability to play defense in order to stay on the floor.

Unless Austin Daye stars in Thunderstruck Two, then no.

He was playing in the Summer League last week. If you have been in the NBA for over 5 years and still have to participate in the SL, you're nothing but a scrub.
