So he's leaving his radio show in NY for Sirius XM? Still seems like he'll be staying on with Skip though.

Great news... I don't have Sirius XM

he likes to use big words and 1/2 the times he uses them incorrectly. His whole schtick in NY media is that he is knowledgeable on NBA rumors and Knick fans like myself tuned in religiously this summer to get the inside scoop. Now that the NBA hot stove is over, he is irrelevant. Listening him trying to discuss baseball/football is downright cringe worthy

Steven A. Smith takes a lot of heat for bringing up racial topics. However, the guy is far from a racist. Most people on radio and television are afraid of such topics, because they could, wrongly, get labeled a racist just for speaking on such things. See above comments for examples.

The guy works in the entertainment industry. The fact we're here talking about where he'll be doing radio means he's done his job. At the end of the day, SAS has made his money and is doing whatever he wants. I say that's a win.

:applause:

I have no idea how someone with an IQ over 80 can conclude that SAS is a racist. I have heard him trash white players, blacks players, latino players, asian players. I have heard him slob on white players, black players, latino players, asian players.

And he is generally right about NBA rumors. His football predictions are generally awful tho...except for the Cowboys.

he purposely mispronounces european players last names. Not sure why he does it, but it makes you wonder

So SAS mispronounces-purposely- Kwame Brown, JaMarcus Russell, and "Patty" Mills name...should you wonder if he has some bias against those of African descent?

Skip Bayless name calls Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, and Cam Newton. Should we wonder if Bayless has some bias towards blacks?

I just hate that whenever a black coach is fired he thinks they aren't getting a fair go and doesn't want to believe that maybe they just f***ing suck

I called his radio show once after Lebron leaving Cleveland. I, of course, let him know how cowardly it was and how it is unprecedented for a player of his caliber in his prime to do it. SAS went on a rant, which I did not let him talk over me. He hung up on me out of frustration because I wouldn't succumb. He kissed the Heatles ass so he could get invited to all the parties, get inside info, etc. He sold his journalistic soul.

I've never seen him so defeated as when I went off on his show.
