Not really. This latest Arsenal team have been very successful since it began to be built after Fabregas and Nasri left in 2011. Since then we have won as many titles as Man United and Liverpool. In fact we have been even more successful than both of them before we have been consistently Top 4 while they have both dropped out.

Well first of all... Arteta and Flamini are not first team anymore after we buy a DM this summer. Secondly, both of them are better DMs than Alex Song. Mascherano doesnt even play DM for you anyway.

I dont know why your laughing, I watched Song at Arsenal and we have been defensively better since he was replaced by Arteta. Song was a DM that had no positional sense and kept driving forward like he was Box to Box. Arteta was definitely a defensive upgrade, as is Flamini. Why do you think Wenger has never bought Song back after Song was begging him to.
