101-107.
Cavs win.
K-Love with 20-20.
Lebron scores the last 8 points.

Why they doing this to Lebron?

Why would it be spurs at cavs instead of the other way around?

Why would it be spurs at cavs instead of the other way around?
They want Lebron's first game to be at Home.

The smart thing to do would not have this be the opener matchup at all. No shame.

Spurs has to play the first game at home in order to receive the rings.

I'd prefer Heat @ Cleveland.

That would be the worst match of all time.

Its amazing how Miami has become a complete afterthought in Lebrons absence.

League wants a scintillating rematch of last years finals; Schedules Spurs to play against Lebron's new team. :oldlol:

The NBA has to do cavs@heat to open the season it's guaranteed to be the highest rated game of the season

Knicks@Bulls

Followed by

Cavs@Spurs

would be the best double header the league could ask for.

OK maybe not but those two crowds would be awesome to watch.

Excuse me?

What about the Spurs vs Heat, you know, the team that actually represented the East the last 4 years vs the defending champions.

Nobody wants to see a Cavs team that won 33 games in the weakest conference of all time get murdered on national tv.

The Heat are still the most stacked team of all time, and we just got better.

I was hoping for Bulls vs Cavs since you know....the knicks suck.

Might as well do:

Cavs @ Spurs
Thunder @ Pacers
Bulls @ Knicks (the Bulls fans can boo Carmelo as much as possible)

and cause I'm a Roc fan

Mavs @ Rockets

Actually, most everyone probably wants to see the Cavs, especially after this Kevin Love trade inevitably goes through. But, I am glad to see you're still a Miami fan. Props to you for that.

Yeah, so I'm guessing this will be the Spurs second game of the season, no? Reigning champs open up the season at home, not on the road. Of course this is LeBron, so we shouldn't be too surprised if the NBA, for some stupid reason, makes the Spurs open their season up on the road in Cleveland.

how about this, best idea. Bulls at lakers, return of rose and kobe. and heat at Cavs. these will get biggest hype and ratings.

This proves that the entire Heat team was basically just lebron

instead of having spurs vs heat, they did spurs vs cavs since the main rivalry is vs lebron since the rest of the heat were just role players

Holy crap. One man had all this power in the league? And the Spurs have to open up at home so this won't happen. I think Cavs-Heat will be Christmas. So I'll go with Bulls-Cavs and Spurs-Thunder opening night.
