Games like this are why I think Barkley had the highest talent level and was the highest peak of any Power forward ever.

Barkley was one of a kind man, a dominant interior force at 6'6( or 6'4 as often said) playing in an era of great bigs. One of my all-time favorites....

He is closer to 6`5 ft. Measured at Olympics at 6`4 5/8 ft. He Certainly Was Not 6`6 ft.

I don't even consider him strictly an interior force. He had a dominant, powerful post game. Insane vertical leaping ability to finish baskets considering his modest height at that position. But Barkley could also put it on the floor, and could stroke the long ball. He was a pretty versatile offensive player. Basically played like a SF and PF.

His Game Was Guard, Forward & Center-Like During Some Motions of Play. Unreal!

Thanks for the link. I haven't watched Barkley play in forever!

I love at 1:20 he goes up in traffic to get the rebound, dribbles down the floor and drains a 3. I forgot he could do that. What a unique player.

He does the exact same thing again at 2:00.

If anyone ever says anything about athletes of today being better than the past just look at David Robinson. Damn.

His ability to bring the ball up and down the court is the main factor for me in putting him above Karl Malone as the GOAT PF.

Sir Charles was truly a one of a kind player.

Could cover 1-5 and had green light to shoot the 3 whenever.

Malone was a Bit Better Man To Man Defender but He Was No Duncan or Garnett. Barkley Was a Better Floor Defender, Stealer, Anticipator, Team Defender and Help Defender for Blocks. Barkley Posted a Season of 2.2 SPG and 1.6 BPG before. Not Even Lebron Has Done That.

No, he's not strictly an interior force, but to me thats the most impressive part about given his size compared to other great PFs, thats why I singled it out. And yes, he was really a sf/pf hybrid in terms of how he played the game. His skillset and attributes are unique.

Ive said it before, Barkley was one of the few who I saw play against peak MJ who looked like the best player on the floor at times. He was that good and had that much impact. That most people rank him in the 15-18 range despite the lack of a ring speaks volumes, considering how much value rings carry in these GOAT arguments.

Chuck had some monster games that series and playoff run, plus, after injuries throughout the season, KJ was a beast again this series and looking more like prime KJ. Robinson really came to play this series, though and kept the Spurs in it. The Suns just had too much talent for his Spurs and Barkley really came through. Chuck was strangely a bit up and down that run, but damn, when he was on, he was on(see the end of the Sonics series). Too bad Barkley didn't have a team like this from '89-'91.

When Chuck Was Pissed (aka Mad) He Was Easily The 2nd Most Intimidating Player After MJ from 88-93.

Doing fine. Funny thing is, the initial reason I stopped posting was that there was a glitch that deactivated my account for a while when I tried to change my email or password, and it didn't get reactivated until a few months ago.
