Cousins is going to make the team for sure.
There is only one team out there that can beat us in Spain, and the only way they can do it is by beating us up down low. Boogie isn't going to let himself get pushed around by the Gasols or Ibaka, I can guarantee you that.

Great read, thanks for posting.
I'd definitely like to see Lillard make it above Irving, Irving may be the slightly better shot creator but with our team's construction that is going to be the least of our weaknesses. I think Lillard, if given 'spark plug' minutes, can really disrupt other guards defensively with his strength/speed/gutsy attitude.
On the Drummond thing, I feel like with the shooting we'll have, we can afford to have him in the game for his defensive and rebounding presence. Opposing teams won't be able to help off the perimeter at all, meaning he'll be able to finish on the PnR more easily than he does against NBA teams

Is Mirotic on the team instead od Ibaka? Spain can only bring one of them to the WC.

Why start KD at the 4? I think a traditional 2 big front court of Durant-Davis-Cousins would be a lot better than forcing KD into the 4 just so PG can start.
Rose-Harden-Durant-Davis-Cousins would be the best starting lineup imo, with the SG spot being interchangeable.

Keep hating on Cousins.

Yeah I'd definitely put PG at the 2..just didn't want to start another Harden hatefest :oldlol:
We'd be blowing teams out by halftime..

I'm assuming KD will play the 4 as well.
I think they will go with a 3 PG/3 SG/2 SF/2 PF/2 C lineup. I don't think Drummond will get cut.

Hmmm...3 PG/2 SG/2 SF/3 PF/2 C.
I really don't see Faried making it, nor do I see Parsons playing the 4, probably not big enough. I see Davis backing up Durant. Off course, if Davis moves to the 5 that would be fine. I could see Cousins playing more PF than C. You move Cousins to the 4, while having Drummond on the team.
Drummond and Cousins in the middle, while Curry, Thompson, and Lillard bang 3's for the bench unit.

Best lineup is Irving-Curry-Durant-Davis-Cousins
Switch Irving and Wall for defense.

Irving over Rose...are you high? If Rose is truly playing well, he will be the starter. Coach K loved him from 2010, so he will be the starter.

Great read, glad to hear Rose was the most impressive.
Rose
George
Durant
Davis
Cousins
That would be my starting lineup, no doubt. With Steph Curry getting significant minutes off the bench.

I hope Rose plays well and it'd be cool to see him start but I want to see a Wall/Boogie reunion.

Because it worked really well last time. It allowed Coach K to play Rose-Gordon-Iggy-KD-Chandler/Love
Don't know if its been posted but coach K said they're probably going with a
Rose
Harden
George
Durant
?Don't remember the center?
Look. International play is smaller and more fast paced. A smaller lineup is needed.
