Sure, Tdot is a more moderate winter climate, but two young players from Canada are about as likely to enjoy the minny area as anyone. The twin cities are actually pretty damn fun cities and have some decent similarities with toronto (though obviously not as cosmopolitan).

However, I'm guessing the context you heard that was in terms of 'stuck-up' attitudes. Then perhaps yes, the bar-scene is generally known to be a little more stuck up and unfriendly in terms of the women you meet.
