Should I go pick it up? Is it a big deal? I really don't care unless they give me some monetary reward. :lol

You should never have to pick up the dean's list certificate. it will either get mailed to you or sent via e-mail. Mine was sent via e-mail. Also, some schools will say that you're on the dean's list but you will receive no certificate for it. Just a notification.

Out of the many people posting, there are only a few that know what this list means.

To those that don't know, it is a list stating you have one of the highest grades.

I am actually offended by such an award. Being that I am an intellectual, they should give me a higher honor. Why?

18 units in one semester without buying a single textbook or download.

Intelligence is always judged by how fast you take in information and, recite and understand the information quickly. I have impressed myself the most in regards to this. Tell me something once and I can do it the next day, while most people need to read twice and three times just to memorize information.

In that sense, I am very proud of myself but offended by being categorized with the sheep.
