Just got a sugery for a minor tear on my ulnar collateral ligament. Surgeon said I wouldn't be able to bike for a few week, ball or play any intense sports for 3 months and that it can take 6 to fully heal. Anybody have experience with this? How long did it take you to heal and did you get close to 100%?

Shit sucks, I can't work, exercise, play video games, even holding a book is hard with my thumb unusable and typing this is quite difficult :lol

You can do plenty, just use your left hand. Stop being down on yourself. Lots of people don't even have right arms and still find a way to do things. Get healthy soon.

Thanks man, Yeah I wasn't trying to bitch or be dramatic about it. I'm going back to work on monday and in pretty good spirits, it's really not that bad, not as bad as I made it seem in the topic. That right thumb is pretty useful though.

Thanks dude. Originally occured from ball, got my thumb bent almost all the way back on some wrong contact. SPrained it really badly then like the idiot I am resumed paying before it healed several times and re-injured it a couple times :hammerhead:
