PG: Westbrook
SG: Roberson
SF: Durant
PF: Ibaka
C: Adams
For those who don't know Roberson, as a rookie last year he had a DRTG of 99 in 41 games played. That good of a DRTG is insane for a rookie.

Durant was a solid defender last season and all the stats reflect that.

Grizzlies are still better defensively IMO...then there's still Chicago who hasn't really lost a beat, and made improvements at the C/PF position with Gasol

If I recall, the last time I looked at the stats, Durant was much better all around on defense, but the part where he had a big advantage was defending power forwards and centers, where he did a much better job vs them than LeBron did.

OKC are pretty solid defensively.
Adams can add so much more to their defense too, I really hope they look to play him more this year.

Yeah they were like a top 3 defense last year. I think next year they could be the top defense in the league.
I think Morrow will help their defense out a ton because he will take tons of pressure off the team offensively giving them more energy for defense, and in addition, he's a better defender than Lamb is or than Butler was last year.

they could be in the argument for it.
but I don't see how you could play this line up for a stretch longer than 6-7 minutes into the game.
it reminds me a bit similar to the Lakers championship team. And that at about 6-7 minutes they'd have to bring in a guy like Odom in order to help the team play more fluid as well as try and establish a pace they'd like to play.

What I was most impressed with last year was Westbrook's man defense.
He's an absolute pest when he puts his mind to it. The playoffs is where I noticed it the most...

He's so underrated in that regard. So many huge clutch defensive plays for OKC in the playoffs, I could list tons of them. If someone like LeBron had even half that many huge clutch defensive plays in the playoffs this year, he's going into next year as the DPOY favorite.
I wish I could find a gif showing a close up of Westbrook playing defense the Spurs. They showed it on TV during the game in a slow motion shot and he looked fukking POSSESSED like I haven't seen since Kobe or Jordan. He had that glare in his eyes, was locked into his man, and his feet and hands were moving so quickly.
I think the Bulls will be the best defensive team in the league next year with offense coming a lot easier to them and with them being out in the East.
OKC should be top 3 again though.

They don't have a juggernaut in that starting five so I'm tempted to say no.
Ibaka gets his blocks, but he's below average in a lot of areas, and a smart player like Duncan exploited that in the OT of game 6. Durant and Westbrook are solid-to-good players. Never seen this Roberson guy so I can't really comment, and Adams is a very solid big who has his moments.

They may be good individual or 1 on 1 defenders, but they need better team defense. The kind that Nick Collison provides, unfortunately he is a negative on offense. Need higher IQ at that end.

This :facepalm
OKC now has, quite easily, the most talent in the league with YEARS of chemistry and continuity to go along with that.
Only Scott Brooks could screw this up TBH.
