And we're saying the Lakers lose in Game 7 and the Heat lose in Game 6

Kobe- Shoots 6/24 in Game 7 at home, dropping him to 4-3 in the Finals and leaving him with just one title without Shaq and one Finals MVP. Drops to 0-2 against the Celtics

LeBron- Has a couple of costly turnovers at the end of Game 6, would eventually drop to 1-4 in the Finals, 0-3 against the Spurs

Kobe for sure. Would drop him to 0-2 in the Finals against Boston, as well as him being the only reason they lost that game 7. It would have been bad for Lebron too, but not as bad because Wade and Bosh played like a$$ in that game 6 as well.
Also, I'm not sure we can say that Bron would eventually drop to 0-3 against the Spurs. Had they lost in 13 their roster would have been drastically different last season, even Arison admitted as much. Maybe they trade Bosh for a few pieces that actually give Lebron some support against the Spurs this year and things turn out differently. Maybe the new pieces don't pan out and the Heat don't even get past Indiana this year. :confusedshrug:

Lebron won in 2013

But IT would be worse for Lebron
he would of been 1/4 at that point.
Kobe won in 09 and had 3 chips prior to that.

LeBron would probably be 1/5 in the Finals assuming they lose again the next year. After "not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4....," Miami only winning one title in 4 years would be embarrassing.

4/7 in the finals vs 1/5 in the finals.

Lebron. Kobe would be Shaq's equal in terms of rings. 2009 was way more important. Kobe proved to be a top notch player on championship teams before.

LEbron broke through the ring burden in 2012 and by that he won against his seemingly biggest present rival, but he would be in the West to Dirk area GOAT-wise. Right now he's talked top 10.

Kobe loses 2010 and he's roughly were he's at right now. What hurt Kobe the most were his peak years on a crap team. That cost him one or two MVPs.

Probably Lebron. Kobe already had 4 rings, Lebron had 1.

Even though Lebron was playing better in game 6 than Kobe in game 7...Kobe still had 4 rings to "fall back" on.

Not necessarily fair, but that's just how a lot of people look at things.

At this point we can safely say that Kobe's career is over. So let's tally his legacy....

Top 14 player of all time. Not bad.

Lebron, on the other hand, is still peaking. He'll probably end up as a top 4 player of all time.
