Bones heal stronger when they are broken. I think he'll be fine. If he tore any tendons or muscles that will add to it quite a bit.

he needs to make sure he keeps it stable so it heals in place and then
strengthen the tendons and work out the inflammation and scar tissue. Might take 6 months to a year.

Lol @ comparing full contact fighting to basketball. You're an idiot.

Dude will be out for MAYBE a full year. Maybe even less if everything goes right.

Anderson Silva is already kicking for a while now. I think PG loses this season but come back strong in 2015 fall.

I feel old.

First thing I thought of was Joe Theisman on Monday Night Football.

That shit was ****ed up and so was this.

I hope it was a clean break. Looked like both bones tibia and fibia. So, that's gonna suck, but if the breaks were clean with modern medical tecniques and recovery...maybe he misses this year and can come back stronger than ever.

I don't know. Just trying to be hopeful because watching that sucked.

I have seen this injury happen 2 times before in Australian sport

both times the player missed 12-14 months

one player was never the same the other maybe 80% of what he was

so sorry PG...

Shit sucks cause the East just became balanced and the Pacers lost Lance and Turner(even though he did nothing). Hopefully he recovers well and come back stronger than ever.

I really hate seeing people get hurt.

Me too, Lawrence Taylor broke his shit though. Brutal.

Ed McAfree (night before 9/11)
Willis MaGahee
Shaun Livingston
Kevin Ware
Anderson Silva

I had never seen stuff like that in basketball until recent years. Are these guys drinking the milk, or taking proper calcium / Vitamin D pills in order to keep their bones from being so brittle? I mean compound fractures in a sport like basketball is shocking to me. This isn't football, or UFC.
