"I'm saying it's most likely because Kevin has made it pretty clear that that's what he wants to do," Taylor told the Pioneer Press, adding that his preference is to keep Love in Minnesota.

It doesn't deserve its own thread. There's a talk thread for it already. The only thing at this point that deserves its own thread is when he's actually traded. We don't need a rumor thread, a likely thread, a talk thread, then eventually a trade thread about it.
The Owner has waved the white flag. This all but confirms he is leaving, which makes this a NECESSARY thread. If this was just another rumor that's one thing, but the owner SPEAKS FOR THE ORGANIZATION.

Cavs fans thinking the wolves have no leverage are being naive. The Knicks can take any and all contracts off Minnesota's hands. If the cavs think they can get love without sending a great package they will get left out in the cold while Love goes to NY

This trade is happening for sure, no doubt about it. How much pressure will LeBron have to win right away? If the Cavs don't win does LeBron deserve a lot of criticism?
I hope Wiggins turns out to be the next Jordan.

LeBron owns it now, it is all on him, even Kevin Love's performance.

The fact that Cavs can't outright sign him next year means that Min overwhelmingly has leverage against Cleveland.

What are the knicks going to do? Offer a package centered around J.R. Smith or Cleanthony? :oldlol:

Love straight up tells the Minny FO he wants out...
Love can walk with Minny getting nothing...
Minny has all the leverage? :hammerhead:

Against Cleveland we do. The only way he goes to Cleveland is on our terms. If We don't like what they offer we simply trade him to another team or let him walk. Cleveland HAS to trade for Love. If Cleveland could sign him outright next year then this would be a different scenario.

Again, LBJ wants Love. Cleveland isn't about to start upsetting Lebron. Wiggins is going to end up in MN.
Not one, not two, not three...

It is best for Minnesota to get Kevin Love out of here (Minnesota) before the season starts.

Is this the amount of stars Lebron need in order to win?

That's an interesting perspective. They have leverage NOW but they're desperate to make a deal now because they know their leverage evaporates the closer and closer we get to the trade deadline.

Im sure the first thing the Cavs would want is to play this out, and make it a bidding war come trade deadline day.

I love how every all-star LeBron plays with is considered a Superstar... If Kevin Love is a Superstar, who the **** isn't one? lol

Cleveland could find a way to sign him outright. Dump everyone but Lebron,Wiggins and Irving and you are only committed to about 43 mil.

If the Cavs are going to make this trade, it makes most sense to do it before training camp starts, so they have time build good team chemistry. Otherwise they'd risk going into the playoffs with a team that hasn't had time to gel, which could leas to all sorts of issues, especially with all the media pressure they'd face.

Why are Minny fans excited about Wiggins? He's just gonna leave just like all the other good players you've ever had.

Rookies are essentially looked up for at least 7 years (Assuming they care about getting max money)
