Wiggins' trade value far exceeds Klay freaking Thompson.

TT & Waiters for Larry Sanders & future pick would be a better move. I think Dmavs posted something similar.

Haha. Yea. In reality the best things to do would be;
TT, cap relief, and 2 first rounders for Sanders and Middelton.
The turn around and trade Wiggins, Bennett, Haywood (don't need his contract now) and a first rounder for Love/Dieng.
Just totally gut the whole cavs...obviously not realistic, but kind of fun to think about;
Irving/Dell
Waiters/Allen
Lebron/Miller
Love/Middelton
Sanders/Dieng/Andy
Not happening of course, but that is a lock for 3 titles in the next 6 years in my opinion.

Like you said it will never happen but that centre rotation :bowdown:

What has wiggins got to do with this? :confusedshrug:
It was late and apparently I'm blind and read Waiters as Wiggins :oldlol:

in a vacuum I'd rather have Dion than Klay.
But this trade really doesn't make much sense for either team. Why would the cavs want Barnes?

I know.
The thing is. It's probably doable...and honestly, maybe throwing in Waiters might be the smart play because the Cavs might not be able to afford him.
Actually, it's very realistic.
Bucks get Waiters, Thompson
Cavs get Sanders, Wolters, and Middelton
I'm not sure the Bucks would be able to turn that down if they at all are trying to move the Sanders contract. The Greek Freak, Waiters, and Parker...damn.
Knight, Waiters, Giannis, Parker, and Henson/TT....that's a pretty sick team moving forward. I have no idea if they'll bring back Knight/TT, but you get the point.
I also wonder about some Pacers now. Would the Pacers like to get out of the George Hill contract?
It's so fun to think about the many options out there right now for this Cavs team if they actually put every player on the table.
Lets imagine the Pacers want to rebuild. Would they turn down Andy's expiring contract and a first rounder for George Hill and Mahinmi? I mean...it might be tough to turn that down with an eye on the future for the Pacers. They can't win the title this year...and that team with West getting older, who knows about Hibbert...they lost stephenson, won't attract big name free agents.
I think a rebuild is best.
George Hill fits perfectly on the Cavs in my opinion. He can play pg and sg. In fact, he might be a great starting sg next to Kyrie. Is a quality defender and actually seems to play better without the ball in his hands. He's only 27. He's turned into a solid 3 point shooter as well. Mahinmi is an excellent defensive center...which of course the Cavs need.
You could very realistically field this team;
Irving/Dell/Wolters
Hill/Allen
Lebron Miller/Middelton
Love/Bennett
Sanders/Mahinmi/Haywood
All it would take is not losing the Wolves trade. Just make the trade everyone knows should happen. No Bennett.
If they Wolves insist on a salary dump as well and the reports are true about Thad Young.
Then just do;
Cavs get Love
Wolves get Thad Young, Wiggins, first rounder
Sixers get Barea, Brewer or Shved, and a first rounder from the Cavs
If Thad Young, Wiggins, and a first rounder...while getting to dump two contracts isn't enough for Love. Then the Wolves are delusional.
