don't be surprised when KD leaves to go to a team willing to spend money.

Better question is whether he is better than Perkins.

He is, not that that says a lot.

Whoever the fuq he is, it's better that he stays in Europe. Dude would get no burn on this team. He'd basically play the Thabeet role.

If 2016 comes and OKC hasn't one a championship, I don't see Durant, Westbrook an Ibaka being together any longer.

It has nothing to do with the buyout. It's because he got a contract that is paying way more than he would make in the NBA. It's that simple.

Just as is the case with hundreds of other players in Europe that make way more there than they would in the NBA.

He's much better than Perkins but Brooks wouldn't play him this year anyways and I'm sure the FO knows that.

They just wanted to get him here for a year to get acclimated so that he would be more prepared to play next year.

Regardless, not wanting to go into the luxury tax for a guy that wouldn't even play this year isn't a big deal. We'll get him next year once Perkins is off the books.

Scola shot 70% once in Euroleague and this guy Pleiss shot 60% one time. The Octopus is soft but he is not stiff or immobile like those typical Euros so could be a decent pick up later on.

He signed at a huge amount of money with Barca. He's not making what he was making at Baskonia anymore. If the Thunder want to sign him now, they will have to pony up a lot more money than before.
