Shit is gonna be yet another CLASSIC sports moment in city of Cleveland lol.

Tons of teams were trying to trade up the HAUL for Wiggins at #1, Wiggins had been hyped as the best prospect in years and for well over a year...

And Cleveland trades him because LeOneYearDeal (who has already ditched them) wants him gone

Cleveland never fails to make me laugh my ass off with how poorly ran their sports teams are

Dude gets mad overrated on here though.

How you going to put up 1-6 shooting in a tournament game while your team loses by 3?

I can't think of any other top prospect in NBA history that would do something like that; even LeBron. LeBron would have at least done more shit in the first 3 quarters.

Because of Embiid's injury concerns I still have Wiggins rated first but it's not some big gap and he certainly doesn't appear to be a franchiser player type of guy like LeBron/Durant did when they came out.

I've changed my mind about him after watching him in summer league. He will definitely thrive under the NBA floor spacing and perimeter oriented officiating.

He's already got a lightning quick stepback that can be a go to move for him rather quickly... Once he develops a handle he'll be a perennial all star.

Believe me though, as someone who would love to see LeFlop lose in the finals again, I'm beyond glad that Wiggins won't be there and Love instead will.

Sucks that Wiggins will be in the West, but it is what it is :confusedshrug:

no lol, I was saying that even LeBron would have done more in a big game; which is bad because we know how LeBron plays on the big stage :lol

If you have followed Cleveland sports history at all, you already know how this is going to end for them. Wiggins will become a superstar. It's the only way.

How is signing the best player in the world (or for argument's sake, cause i know you're gonna bitch about it, second best) and getting Kevin Love (top 5 PF with Dirk, Blake, Davis, Aldridge) anything but a great thing for Cleveland sports?

They came into expecting to draft Doug McDermott or Stauskas or Gary Harris and they end up with Kevin Love and LeBron James?! All things considered, It's probably the best single off-season for a team in Cleveland history...

As far as the Wiggins trade goes - I have no idea how trading "DeMar DeRozan 2.0" for Kevin Love is a bad trade...and if summer league has totally changed your opinion on him then you probably shouldn't have had an opinion in the first place...

It's insane overrated Love is. His playoffs stats are exactly the same as Wiggins and Wiggins haven't even played a single game yet.

So he's a top 5 PF in the West, has injury concerns, is strictly a one way player, won't commit to any team for the longterm, and thats better than hanging onto Andrew Wiggins (on a cheap 4 year deal) who has through the roof potential and could end up being a 2nd or even 1st option on a championship team?

Sorry pal, I just don't see the logic here.

- What injury concerns? As far as I know he has no lingering injuries at the moment..

- I said top 5 in the league...i'd probably take him over Blake on some teams (like the clippers)

- He's not "strictly a 1-way player" he's one of the best rebounders in the league.

- cheap 4 year deals don't matter when you're operating as a capped out team like the Cavs will be next year when irving's extension kicks in

- Demar Derozan is not a 1st or 2nd option on a title team... sorry

You think Wiggins' peak is going to be DeMar DeRozan?

And congrats, he swallows up rebounds. Still doesn't play defense.

Also, this league basically = West. You list the best talent in the league, you're basically listing all guys from the West and LeBron.

I was going to say that he's basically the Harden of PF's, but he's less durable and can't even get a team INTO the playoffs, so I'm not sure what to say about him :confusedshrug:

No...actually you think that

And he's not that bad on defense...factoring in defensive rebounding i'd say he's a net zero on that end...not bad, not good..people act like he's james harden or something

So you trust my opinion from months ago after Wiggins worst game more than actual NBA talent evaluators?

:lol

And yes, Love is horrid at defense. Queue to the hundreds of clips of him choosing to box out his man for a possible rebound rather than actually play help defense.

Melo didn't make the playoffs playing in an all-time bad conference...is he not a star?

Wolves in the east would be like the 3rd-6th best team

No i don't....I'm just pointing out the logical inconsistency of you criticizing them for making this trade while at the same time saying Wiggins is "DeMar DeRozan 2.0"....personally i think he ends up something like Paul George...

No Love is not horrid...there is no proof that he is....statistically he actually grades out positively...
