View Full Version : Is LeBron the Luckiest "Superstar" of All Time???

Kidbasketball20
08-04-2014, 03:20 PM
- Teams up with two fellow "superstars" who are WILLING to get paid less, less statistical numbers, AND be the #2 #3 betas to LeBron.

- The luckiest 3 pt corner shot in NBA History.

- Plays all his games in the Eastern Conference, at a time when their is 10x less talent compared to the Western Conference

- Derrick Rose is injured during Miami's 2 rings

- Paul George is injured now, the only major team the Cavs would have to compete against (besides the Heat/Bulls)

Others can add to the list, but the major points being the Conference he plays in (Never in NBA history have conferences been so unbalanced), and the injuries to major superstars he never had to face.

No true basketball fan respects Kobe's two Finals MVP's, accept it bruh. He got the first one due to an injury to KG, and the second because Pau, Metta, and the refs rescued him from the biggest game 7 choke by a superstar in NBA history.

I would have to list Michael Jordan as the second luckiest ever. After losing 9 of his first 10 playoff games his front office gifts him Scottie Pippen, and the rest is history.

You realize how well the Bulls team did WITHOUT Rose the last few years? The team got much better since the year Rose was MVP, they would been the Heat's stiffest competition.

Nope. In his first 7 years the best 2nd option he could get was Mo Wiliams and for the last 2 years with Cavs he was seriously expected to win a chip and when he failed that was considered a huge failure. Kobe, Duncan, Magic, Bird, Shaq, Jordan, ,... all of them had better teammates early in their careers, when you think about it it's incredible to how high standards Lebron was held to early in his career.

It is Kobe in my opinion

Heh I don't think he saw it that way. It's not like he revelled in having Shaq to 'carry' him-- hell he hated deferring.

But I respect the fact that he wanted to prove that he could win without Shaq and did it. Twice.

-extremely positive media sensation for returning home when it wasn't really the heroic story that the media was portraying it as.
-team dumps his future superstar replacement for a great beta that'll be perfect for getting him a ring NOW, before the start of the season.

EDIT: of course, every single person in the top ten had some great luck throughout their careers. You're not making the top ten without some luck.

Shaq's Magic "miraculously" won the lottery in 1993 (for the second straight year) with like a 1% chance (rigged much Commish?) to get Penny Hardaway. From that point on, he had pretty much stacked teams through till the end of his career.

Magic Johnson would be another pick until he was forced to retire because of AIDS.

So Lebron "wanted" to have to do all the scoring, rebounding, and playmaking?! :biggums:
If that is the case why didn't he just stay in Cleveland? Fck outta here with that bullshit!
Also, Lebron did not get everything he wanted. Bron wanted more minutes for James Jones, yet Spo continued to use an old and worthless Shane Battier instead. Mike Miller was also amnestied against Lebron's wishes. The Heat chose to ignore Lebron's wishes, and now they will be forced to pay the price as they struggle for an 8th seed this season.

Gets no credit for putting up 28,5,5 in two championship runs.

Plays his entire career in the west (where almost no perimeter star can get out of the first round without an all-star big).

Waste his peak away on Smush Parker and Kwame Brown (Tim Thomas anyone?).

Gets robbed of his greatest career moment when his teammates doesn't showing up in G5 2010 finals (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lXiec1qE0rs), then gets crusified for running out of gas two games later on drained knees in his 14th season.

Also the only superstar where people call out his FMVPs because another player might have had a better single GAME in the series, rather than the actual criteria of better SERIES. It's like saying Durant or Lebron dont deserve MVP honours because Melo had a better game than them on January 15th. FOr example...Melo was the MVP of January 15 so Lebron/Durant dont deserve the MVP ha ha
