It's good, but it kinda fell off in quality now, 9 23-episode seasons can do that :D But I'm still looking forward to season 10...

It's about two brothers hunting whole lot of different supernatural creatures with a lot of humor included, you should definitely give it a try.

I'm watching it too for the same reasons. I will admit it has been better than the previous few seasons so far. Although the appearance of the Fairy Godfather the other night was horrible. Because it's ending we seem to be getting a tighter more focused story on the main characters than the wild crap we'd been getting the last few seasons. The Lillith stuff and the council's underground bunker ... ugh! It's still rediculous.

lol i watch both, sort of...i watched Defiance when it first came out and was sort of into it. but then it took the break and i stopped.

I'm into Dominion, but haven't seen recent episodes, like last 2 maybe. I know i saw about 3~, maybe more, and really started liking it.

i kept going and going in S1 waiting for it to get better but it didn't and i just feel like it was such a waste of time. To me Supernatural is way out of Grimm's league, like Grimm is middle school playground while Supernatural is NBA...just on a completely different level of enjoyment imo.

Dominion - Unless something changes I will continue to watch just to see how the story ends. I kind of had high hopes for it as it jumped about 20 years I think from the movie. As hard as they try to get you engaged its just ho hum.

Defiance - I dont think its as good as others here. It did pick up this season though with the intrigue factor, the Castithan based story is where its at.

Strain - They are taking a long time to develop this story. I find it interesting so far and its not driven by the man in the box.

Falling Skies - I guess this season added juice by the all powerful "LEXI" but the past couple of seasons has been boring.

Grimm - I like Grimm. No real reason though.

The vamps vs yakuza is kinda dumb to me. Like Eric took out a army last season and they killed witches and werewolfs. So why they can't beat a group of Asians with guns?

The show really hasn't been good in a while, but I will give them this much ... they have gone to great lengths to tie up all the characters as best they can. I had all but forgotten about the rediculous Rutger Hauer grandfather fairy, but I suppose he did say he'd be watching over her, so they resolved it. Brought Hoyt back. Resolving a the story with him and Jessica could've been totally skipped, but they're doing it. Killing his mother. Killed Allicede so he wouldn't be in the way. Sam leaves town. And they've even created some closure for Jason with this other girl.

Because of all the callbacks, it's felt even more weirdly paced than it has in the past. Like Andy found his kids and he's all done now probably until the season finale when they'll most likely hit on everyone a bit between Sookie and Bill's final resolution. But at least they haven't had to dig themselves deeper into the vampire mythos they created. Because in season one, and even two, it was fresh and creative and fun, and then it just started eating itself and getting painfully retarded. The Lillith stuff. The Wargo stuff. All of that was just awfull. In this season with no need to create any seasonal drama, outside of the cure on the Yakuza (which is pretty retarded), it feels like the season has worked better than I had any right to hope it would.

The whole last season was all over the place. The sick vampires at the beginning of the season disappeared after a few episodes. I thought they were gonna have a bigger role for the whole season. It's like they decided to switch villains halfway through and just introduced the yakuza. It all felt to fabricated and rushed.
