Anthony Davis

I think the addition of Asik will allow Davis to slide into his natural position at PF, and also Asik provides the Pelicans with a true rim protector.

Lance Stephenson

He could really excel his game next year being an even bigger focus on offense than he was in Indiana.

Victor Oladipo

Greatly reminds me of Dwyane Wade in terms of offense and defense. One of the few guards in the league that's not afraid to go up for a block on a bigger body.

I was going to say this, but he still looks so raw offensively from watching the USA scrimmages.

Bron.

if there is such thing.

We're gonna see a more mature Bron, picking and choosing his spots and playing off the ball better than ever before. With Kyrie setting him up, he'll be harder to stop, specially with the weight loss.

George Hill, obviously because of the added responsibilities. Always felt he was a skilled player but very passive, always content to just playing a role.

Good post. I agree with all 3 guys. Hopefully MJ pushes Lance.

Those from the US team that won't get injured. Getting to play with the best often motivates you to reach their level the following season. So guys like Beal, Parsons, DeRozan and Thompson are potential candidates.

Also look out for third year players, especially those with superstar potential such as Anthony Davis. Don't be surprised if he comes out with a 24 ppg, 12 rpg season and finishes top 3 in MVP voting.

But it's not just him. The 2012 class is a good one and several players could explode. The most obvious candidate other than AD is Andre Drummond, who could turn into young Dwight 2.0, turning his 13 ppg into 17+. The already mentioned Beal is another good candidate: US team + third year. Lillard, although he may have maxed out already as an older player, shouldn't be slept on. Terrence Ross, Terrence Jones, Jared Sullinger and Will Barton complete my 2012 list.

I would also look at fifth year players who are already good to very good but with a real margin for improvement as they enter their primes.John Wall, DeMarcus Cousins, Greg Monroe, Gordon Hayward. Paul George should have been part of this list, sadly...

Why is it that every year someone insists that Beasley is going to break out?

kshutts1

Stephenson will open some eyes, and his contract will be viewed as a steal for the Magic.

Calderon will put up about 14/10 on good percentages, and being in NY will get more recognition for that.

Jeremy Lin will be viewed as a legit starting PG.

Bosh will go back to being the leader of a team and a star in his own right. Thinking 22/12 with 1.5 blocks.

He has all the tools to be a left handed Carmelo Anthony. Obviously not expecting him to ever be that good, but he's in the same mold as players like Al Harrington, Sheed, etc.. players that are capable of so much more.

Kyrie Irving i think will become a more complete player and will get recognized more once he is doing his thing on big stage in playoffs.

Certainly not disagreeing. Just more responded to the one guy. If put in the right situation, I think Beasley can put up ridiculous numbers. Just likely empty.
