I'm not thrilled about it, but overall, it seems more logical than a lot of other lists.

Why is whatever someone else is doing on another board relevant to this one? (And why is it okay to blatantly talk about what's going on on some other board? On other boards, including non-sports one, that specifically isn't allowed.)

I find it interesting though, that, the last time I was there (I've forgotten now how long it's been since I left there), they repeatedly talked about how inferior (and "no fun") this board is, yet, apparently, they're monitoring what's going on if they just so happen to "coincidentally" post a Top 10 list after this board finished one. It's odd that anyone would even care about what's going on over at an inferior board, let alone mirror it.

Nevertheless, let me go on what I know, and what I know about people and use some deduction. I doubt though, that you'll let me know how close I am.

1) I don't believe you randomly happened to come across this list (which itself just so happened to have been "just completed" concurrent to this one, but I digress). Therefore you must be a member over there as well. Fpliii, for instance, was a member of both boards the last time I was active there before I left, so I'm going to presume the same is true of you.

If my presumption is correct that you're also a member of that other board, I know that Kobe is regarded as a deity there. "GAWDbe." I doubt things have changed. If you're a member of that other board, I don't believe for an instant that if you were so offended that your blood pressure was in danger of rising, that you didn't vent your frustration over there. And, after that happening, they of course talked about how inferior this board was and went on a bash-fest. Your post was a little over a week ago, so it's possible they made their own list in order to do it "right," unlike those people "over there." I don't have any way of knowing without going over there to investigate whether their list was done in response to your frustration over this one or whether it began first. Since your post was a little over a week ago, that wouldn't be enough time for them to have completed a top 10 list in that time, though then again, they probably wouldn't have taken as long. A one-line response would suffice over there. Kobe is in the top 10 on the list you provided, though I find his ranking low for over there (unless things have changed since I left). I also find it a bit hard to believe they voted Duncan over Kobe, unless the outcome of last season factored into it (which would also explain Duncan over Shaq). Though as I was wrong about Wilt's ultimate placement while actually being active here, I can't definitely speak about what's going on on a place I haven't been in at least over a year.

3) Finally, if you are a member of that other site, frustrated with Kobe's placing on this one, it's possible you posted their list here in order that you can report back to your brethren what the posters here had to say about it so that you can all bash this site further.
