This. The dude is done. I don't see why everyone still hangs on his nuts now. He's absolutely horrible.

I always looked at like musicians. Most, of the greats, have drugs, partying, women ingrained into their makeup. It's part of who they are. When they take it too far and have to have it removed from their lifestyle their work suffers. They no longer write music we like.

Being a scumbag womanizer and cheap bastard was part of his DNA, part of what made him great on the course, part of his mental make-up. When you take that away and add injuries, the magic is gone.

No one wants to listen to a sober Doors or 1980's Who.

Steroids or HGH. He stopped taking them after Bill Plaski called him out in the LA Times.

apparently Tiger has a huge d1ck. One of his mistresses said so. It was at least 9 inches long apparently.

golf, probably more than any sport, is game that requires a focused state of mind. doubt he ever rediscovered his mental focus after that tabloid mess.

it could be a number of things.

Maybe golfers today are just as physically imposing as he is? So the advantage he had is no longer the case, possibly.

But I really think he just got too yoked. Increased mass mixed with his violent swing shred his knee. He started to overcompensate for the knee and jacked his back. And now his entire body is out of whack.

Or it could be now he can't bone porn stars and do lines of blow off their silicone tits without sponsors finding out. Throwing off his rhythm.

All seem plausible at this point.

Golf is fun to play, but so stupid to watch.

It's not much different than most athletes. We just like to speculate about a lot of different things. IMO it's two things:

1) Injuries. Young Tiger was capable of things we'd never seen before on a consistent basis. He did things on purpose that most people do on accident and act like it was on purpose. But it came at a price to his body. And he has that drive to get to 18. Because of this he is constantly coming back too early.

2) Mental changes. It has nothing to do with women, or anything like that. Tiger is still the most talented golfer, or at least top-3. But he can't dominate like he once did. He's only ever known how to win like Tiger. Obliterating courses, getting into others' heads, remember he was favored over the field all of the time. Which is crazy. BUT NOW on any given week he can be top-3, but he has to learn how to win differently. He's gonna have to get used to scraping out wins, to surviving tournaments.

What's interesting is when he last won the Open he looked like he was heading that way. And at the time I was thinking: "This is over. He's gonna win 20+ majors." He was just dinking and dunking courses and looked like he was in cruise control. He wasn't dominating courses, just taking what it gave him, and in doing so he was killing people. And then his leg got him. And it was downhill from there.

No doubt the timing of his issues outside golf didn't help. But the main thing is his injuries and his needing to adjust to the new status. He's getting there slowly, but every time he rushes back he's set back. If he plays this week, then I have no faith in his camp, because someone needs to say stop, relax, lets go back to square one, starting by getting fully healthy.

And the craziest thing about it all is he could play this week, and win.

I will say this. If you are not a golf fan you cant fully grasp what he has accomplished already. Tiger is the best golfer ever if not 1B if you go soley by majors but overall wins Tiger got it.

He changed the game from a manufacturing stand point to how golfers actually train. He changed how most courses are designed to be longer and more difficult.

Tiger over trained like Crown&Coke said. He got too jacked. Tiger looks like a football player, playing golf which limits flexibility.

Tiger doesnt play as often and he always was on a pared schedule so for him to win as much as he did speaks volumes on his greatness.

I agree with Timmy D for MVP the mental aspect of not being the longest and relatively accurate is hard a pill to swallow. It is harder to accept that part. But that was a small part of his game that intimidated other players. It was his ability to hit an array of shots from anywhere on the course and having the best short game and bunker shots. I dont believe he has to scrap and scramble but with age and injury he hasnt adapted to making the shots presented.

I strongly agree that he has a superman complex when it comes to recovering from injury. He just needs to take the time off and get as close to 100% as possible.

He needs to dump Sean Foley.

He was like Canseco or Mcgwire circa 1990. When he was the only one juicing he stood out but when everyone hopped on board the advantage was gone.

it's really just a matter of whether or not he will still have the capability to drive the long ball.

you are not honestly going to tell me in a sport where strategy is based upon the course. a golfer is going to have trouble adjusting his style of play based on the injuries to his body.

but if you can't drive the long ball, those are the extra strokes that becomes unavoidable compared to when someone is younger.
