They didn't choose Deron over Sloan. Deron was traded shortly after.

They should have moved on from Sloan in the early 90's anyway the first time(did it twice!) they went from 1st to 3rd in their division. Look forward to the team running and getting after people defensively again this year myself which wouldn't be happening under Jerry's watch.
