This is only for Santa Barbara county...but it's just the beginning....more countys are sure to follow.

EOR = enhanced oil recovery like steam injecting the well's, Fracking etc.

Time to start imagining a world with no fossil fuels.....as future generations are sure to develop a new/ cleaner drill/well free fuel source.

That would be great of course but its just hard to imagine a source of energy that is: plentiful and easily harnessed, clean, and powerful/consistent enough to meet current energy demands. Things like solar and wind obviously can help reduce the burden on other sources but its not a cure-all IMO.

Fossil fuel is so efficient it's hard to see it disappearing completely anytime within our lives but hopefully we can greatly reduce the amount it's used by improving alternative methods that can be suitable for at least some of our current energy uses.

According to that link, there is no fracing in the county in question. So yeah, fill your boots and ban it I guess.:oldlol:

Fracing is not going anywhere.
